THERE’S nothing quite like a South African summer – the long sunny days, the festive excitement and that unmistakeable December feeling in the air.

I recently moved to Cape Town from Johannesburg and the city is abuzz with activity and an influx of tourists. This is testament to what a beautiful country we live in, despite all its problems.

As we start to unwind after another long year, I hope you’re all looking forward to shutting out the noise and doing things you enjoy, whether it’s spending time with family and friends or treating yourself to a special something you’ve been planning all year.
