About this ebook

All power belongs to God, and by His discretion power may be given to one individual or the other for use. Even Satanic powers are subject to control by the Almighty God. The power to change circumstances belongs to God. This book will show you how by humility and sacrifice power can be made available for your use. Indeed without sacrifice genuine, sustainable power cannot be acquired. This book also describes how power for financial prosperity is released through tithing. In addition, the power over demonic control is only achievable through the synergistic effect of fasting and prayer. The whole purpose of our existence on Earth therefore is for a selection process for those to rule with Christ in His Kingdom. It is therefore important that you go through trials and afflictions which together work in you to break you down, converting pride into humility, generating patience, temperance, enhanced faith, trust in God, and true love. At the end of it, power is released into your hands, which enables you to acquire a position on a throne with Christ Jesus to rule over nations or tribes, depending on the level set for you according to the original purpose of od for your life.

Dr. Benjamin Dadebo

Dr. Ben Dadebo is a Lay Minister in charge of Lighthouse Chapel International, Rochdale, Lancashire, UK. He owes a lot of gratitude to the opportunity provided by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, the Founder of Lighthouse Chapel International, to respond to the call of God upon his life. Though a trained medical practitioner, Dr. Ben’s passion is to fulfil his purpose in life, and hence to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Practising as a Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Lancashire Women and Newborn Centre, Burnley Dr. Ben had the privilege to work as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Assisted Conception Unit at St. James University Hospital, Leeds, from 2005-2008. During this period Dr. Ben started receiving profound truth about medical science based on the Holy Scriptures. Dr. Ben also holds a master’s degree in Sports Medicine (Nottingham University). Having completed a PhD in Exercise Physiology (Manchester Metropolitan University) in a field that combined Gynaecology and Exercise Physiology (Vascular Aspects of Oestrogen), Dr. Ben has by the grace and mercies of God acquired an in-depth knowledge about oestrogen and its ubiquitous nature and a deep understanding of God’s wisdom in relation to how the human body functions. By the grace of God, revelatory knowledge received through the study of the Bible with medical science application explains the emergence of this book, the very first of a series to come. Stay blessed and enjoy this book.

    Dedication

    303786-DADE-layout.pdf

This book is dedicated to Bishop Dag Heward Mills and the Healing Jesus Campaign. Together with my very first book, Predestination Paradox of Life, these two books, by a specific instruction of the Holy Spirit, have been donated to the Healing Jesus Campaign. Consequently all sales of these books go to support this precious campaign championed by Bishop Dag Heward Mills. God bless you Bishop for your obedience.

    Preface

    303786-DADE-layout.pdf

I cannot claim to be the real author of this book. It is only for reference sake that you find my name as the author of this book. I can testify that I am not that smart to come up with all the revelations written in this book. It is for this reason the Spirit of the Lord impressed upon me to present this book as a contribution to the Healing Jesus Crusade, run by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, a great man of God.

I had the first indication of the Lord using me to write books when I had a dream on March 3, 2007. Prior to this, following my quiet time, which I normally did in the mornings, thanks to the wonderful teaching by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills as I became a member of Lighthouse Chapel International, I have come to realise that my whole purpose in life is to reach out to people who read these books to share the love of God. I believe there are some people to be delivered from my spiritual womb, just by reading this particular book.

It is amazing how I consistently kept receiving deep revelation about the Word of God and its special link to medicine. I now understand why my life went the way it has. I struggled to understand why the Lord gave me a job as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Assisted Conception Unit, St. James Hospital, Leeds. This is a job I got in a mystical way. I thought there were better-qualified people who came for the interview, and yet I was given the job.

I can say confidently that the pursuance of my PhD work has been key in the main content of this particular book, which I believe will be a blessing to both the Christian and non-Christian world. I strongly believe that you will understand your life better after reading this book. From 2005 to 2008 I worked in the Assisted Conception Unit providing in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment (test-tube baby technology) for couples with fertility problems. My stay at the fertility unit gave me understanding of the majesty of God and a means to understand my purpose in life.

After joining Lighthouse Chapel International I did not really take Bishop Dag Heward-Mills seriously as I ought to, until the Lord impressed upon me to do so. By the grace of God I took up the opportunity to start a Lighthouse Chapel International branch at Rochdale, in the North West of England. I realised how I struggled to get the church up on its feet. I took up the challenge, and along the way I believe the Lord impressed upon me the concept of fatherhood and the fact that the bishop is supposed to be my father. From that time every message the bishop has preached on fathers gives me a special tickle.

In one of the Iron Sharpeneth Iron Conferences in Accra, Ghana, Bishop Dag stated that "before you can be a priest (Levite), your father must be a priest (a parent Levite). This concept, grasped whilst listening to the Machaneh (a heavily anointed special collection of all camp meetings by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills), is what has solidified my understanding about my spiritual relationship with Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. I came to the realisation that I cannot be part of the job the Lord is using Bishop Dag Heward-Mills to do if I fail to receive him as a father. Therefore to be part of the mission it was imperative to take him as my spiritual father.

The message revealed in this book has all come out of special revelations the Lord has graciously given to me. After completing the draft write-up of my first book, Predestination Paradox of Life, I felt strongly the need to write on sacrifice. I thought to myself, what really do I know about sacrifice that I need to write a book on this subject? The Lord started reminding me of things He’s taught me and the main finding from my PhD work. On top of that, every day as I do my quite time, the message of sacrifice just kept popping up.

Why am I picking up messages on sacrifice everywhere I read in the Bible that I never found reading the same Scriptures in the past? Such things must be given to you. That is why the Bible says if any man thinks he knows anything, he should realise that he does not know anything yet as he ought to (1 Corinthians 8:2). When the Holy Spirit begins to open your eyes to marvellous truths in the Bible, you will wonder how you have never thought about the same Scripture that way before.

On May 6, 2009 whilst listening to Men of God, a message from the Machaneh, suddenly I got confirmation of some of the things I needed to include in this book. I have been amazed at how the Lord guided me through these writings, and I am very grateful for that.

Dear reader, God is so real, and I suggest you have a good reflection on the issues pointed out in this book and allow God to speak to you.

I believe the message of sacrifice has disappeared from the Church in these last days, and is the reason I believe why God organised this book. I thank God for choosing me for this job, for I am the least of people that anybody will think God would use for such a powerful book. Ever since the Lord made this impression about writing this book, everything I read in the Bible reveals a message on sacrifice for me. I thank God once again for choosing me for this work. God bless Bishop Dag Heward-Mills and all of us.

    Chapter 1

    Luck, Misfortunes, and Curses:

    The Reality of Supernatural Power

    303786-DADE-layout.pdf

Life on Earth is full of ups and downs, as well as many uncertainties that beat human understanding. Yet man is so proud about the little he knows. To say that life is full of mysteries is an understatement. Even though man has no idea how he found himself on planet Earth, our little knowledge makes us think that we are masters of ourselves and our lives. It is no wonder that the Bible describes how knowledge puffs up:

We know that we all have knowledge, knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. And if any man thinks that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know (1 Corinthians 8:1-2).

This statement explains the frustration that man goes through in life. Despite the apparent wisdom and knowledge man has acquired, there are many things that are beyond human control. Even though man hardly would want to believe that God exists, we are consistently baffled by life events and trends where the absence of God cannot explain how life should be the way it is. Why is man so stubborn and not willing to accept his faults and move on?

To say that there is no God, and yet cannot explain where you as an individual came from, and have no idea what controls luck and misfortunes/curses, is an admission of dishonesty. This is because luck, misfortune, or curses certainly cannot be explained by evolution or any spontaneous generation theory.

Man seems to have settled with the fact that there is some force that appears to control luck, such that if it works for you, then events are likely to go your way. This is the reason for statements like fingers crossed and touch wood, as used commonly in contemporary English language. These statements are often made by superstitious people, clearly indicating an admission of the existence of a supernatural force determining the direction of events. It is so commonly used that it has more or less become a colloquial expression. People say it without really thinking about it.

In the game of football it is a well-established fact that sometimes luck counts so much to determine whether you win or lose a match. Although it is true that there are known parameters that characterise a good team such as commitment, unity among players and staff, training and consistency, experience and track record of the coach/manager, yet it is not every time that victory can be guaranteed. Thus it appears that sometimes the logic of good performance leading to victory does not always happen.

There appears to be an indispensable element called luck, which seems important in influencing events. Indeed, there are clubs often referred to as bogey clubs which always seem to have good results against particular teams, irrespective of the general trend of performance in the respective clubs. The question is, where does this element of luck come from? Who actually controls luck and how can we manipulate it to ensure success and victory at all times?

Whoever controls luck must be very powerful. This certainly can be no one other than the Creator of the universe. The Creator of the universe is supposed to be loving and fair, so how does luck get shared fairly if there is anything like fair distribution of luck and fortunes? And if so, what determines who gets lucky, and when does this luck manifest?

Another thing that is quite bizarre is the issue with curses. In my research I discovered some incantations calling on the lord of darkness and the lord of nights to bring somebody down, take his marriage, and tear it apart, bring chaos and hate in the marriage, and so on. This involved the lighting of candles, meditating, and reciting the incantations for three nights, and supposedly some vibrations are released to do the things that are recited in the life of the target victim. I found something very interesting about curses, hexes, and bindings in that there was a warning that it is not meant for beginners and that without experience you will only hurt yourself.

If life came from spontaneous generation, where did these spells, hexes, and curses come from? Are they real, and can they affect anybody? Why is there the need for experience, and why can it be dangerous? These things must have worked at least once, otherwise it would have been discarded. But these are practices that have been in society for quite a while.
