About this ebook

Faith does not accept the Status-quo, it creates or recreates to a desired state. It is a force that is potent having supernatural kinetic abilities. God Almighty lives by faith. The operation of faith is prevailing in any and every situation/circumstance. Faith at its peak is a principle called Trust. Nothing established on this principle has ever failed nor will. Examples are the Sun and the Moon, Day and Night, Sowing and Reaping, etc.

We too are expected to live by faith (Believe, Speak and See). The way it works "...calling the things that be not as though they were." It is not that you are believing but that you believe, then speak and you shall have whatsoever you say. Every tangible thing was made from the intangibles, faith is what makes or moves things from the unseen realm into the seen material world.

What will you do if you realize that God has given you access to the dynamic power of faith to allow or disallow things here on earth? Yes, you have been the one in charge but you might not have known this. The functional knowledge of the truth makes a person free. Faith is indeed what you need! Read and be blessed.

    DEDICATION

Faith, what you need is solely dedicated to my spiritual father Rev David Chukwudi Ogbueli. Papa, I thank you for saying ‘Yes’ to the Lord, and because you yielded to God’s call I have received by connection to you the supernatural enablement required for the manifestation of my assignment.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENT

My most sincere gratitude is to God Almighty, my heavenly Father, for His mercies and grace to me due to the great love which He has for me. Also, I glorify Him for the gift of faith.

To my spiritual father Rev. Dr. David Ogbueli and His lovely wife mummy Sarah Ogbueli of Dominion City Church Worldwide.

Pst. Chukwudi Chineme PCJ, you are a true Christian. I have been so blessed serving under you as my pastor and the shepherd over my destiny, you are indeed a great blessing to me.

A big thank you to my family and friends, I love you all for your support and encouragement in life.

Thanks to a very important friend Dr. R. A. Udeajah Ph.D. he was my first mentor in the art of writing. After sharing with him many years ago about my seemingly impossible dream to write Christian books he encouraged me to start and suggested to me ‘the how’.

I want to use this medium to honour a special friend(s) to me, Jan Miller and the entire crew of Dupree Miller & Associates. I call you Best of the best.

    INTRODUCTION

Faith, what you need is a book for those who are called to step out of the boat. If you are comfortable in the boat, you are excused from reading this book. This inspired writing is for those who believe that there is a purpose for their lives. Those who know they were not born to survive but to live and to reign in the earth. People with survival mentality often concern themselves with the past and present only, to the expense of the future. Such people pursue after carnal/material things and consequently are blinded from true riches which are spiritual and intangible. All tangible things are made from the intangible. Esau, according to the Bible, lost his birth right to Jacob his younger brother because he thought it was all about survival. We are not here to survive; we came here to live and accomplish things to the glory of our Maker. Do you know there is a meaning and purpose to your life? Or the reason you are still alive, not dead like many others you knew and perhaps attended their burial? People we always had around, suddenly it becomes obvious that we will not set our eyes on them anymore, at least in the flesh. They disappear as though they never really existed.

Having seen all that you have been opportune to see and experience here on earth, do you think God will waste a plan like you? You are a medium God is seeking to use to solve problems in your family, community or world. But you cannot account for something you don’t even know, can you? You just grew up to know that you are here. Please do not leave here not also knowing why! It is better to be dead and not know life than to know life and not know why – David Ogbueli. Ignorance is not an excuse anywhere and will not be on the last day. You were not created for money, material possessions or anything else as you may think. God created man, man created money and idolized it as god. It is written, no one can serve both God and money (Matthew 6:24). If God imbues His essence into you, you will have dominion, subdue, rule and reign over everything else including money. This is His plan for you, notwithstanding your challenges and resistance.

What are you looking at around you? What do you feel or what is your present experience? If all that you see are trials, troubles, challenges, lack and want. That is boxing yourself into a corner, exactly where the enemy wants you; he is in charge of things with that kind of perception. Let me tell you what I see. In addition to all that which you are looking at presently, I also see the glory of God all around me. The glory as a son of God is hovering all over me and imbued in me. Ultimate reality is not what you are looking at presently but what you can see with the eyes of faith.

Jesus, in the Bible, said of the Roman Officer that he had great faith, though the Officer was looking at his servant sick and dying yet he saw him well again through the eyes of faith because he moved to meet Jesus. No matter how dead a situation may be, you can revive it if you can perceive life and make move. A life by faith is not a life without predicament; it is a life above predicament. Jesus was in the same boat with His disciples when the storm struck, the Bible noted that He was peacefully asleep. Also, in another scenario, Peter hearing the Word stepped out of the boat and started to walk on water to Jesus (Matthew 14:29). The Bible records, But when he saw the wind he was in fear and, starting to go down (Matthew 14:30 BBE). Everyone else says, What shall we do now, it is a dead end for us all. Look, in front is the Red Sea, sideways are very high mountains and worst of all are the ever charging chariots behind us. Yet someone among the same people will dare to say, We must go forward! (Exodus 14:9-15).

Some things in life will not change until you move forward. Are you under siege? My advice is, advance. When Jesus healed the ten lepers, He asked them to move on, and as they advanced in the right direction they were healed. You will need to make a move in the right direction to get great results. Moses leading the children of Israel out of Egypt, they came in front of the Red Sea, Moses conscious of the Word of the Lord said to the Israelites, We must go forward! Imagine that? Just to cite some examples outside biblical insight. Imagine that Late Martin Luther King Jnr. or Nelson Mandela after receiving those great visions stayed back, like the other apostles in the boat with Peter?

Another very powerful example is a story you may have read in the book of Numbers chapter thirteen in the Bible. Out of the many people who were sent out to spy on the land God promised the Israelites, all brought in bad report except two, Caleb and Joshua. One of the two who brought the good report made a faith proclamation, …Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it (Numbers 13:30 NKJV)! That was contrary to the opinion of the others who said, The land is filled with giants, we are like grasshoppers before them!

You will tarry in the boat, under a basket, in the room or behind the scene except you dare to step out. If you receive the Holy Spirit at new birth or at baptism you
