This book captures the experiences God imparted into my life through various dreams, visions, and revelations while on the great journey of salvation and transformation. I pray and hope this book of my personal experiences with the Holy Spirit encourages you to pursue your ever-growing relationship with the heavenly Father. God bless.

CHAPTER 1

Back to the Start

It all started back in the early 1990s when I was eighteen. I was all that and a bag of chips. Yes, I was the man. I was Manni (aka Anthony Edwards), son of the senior minister of the local church, Tabernacle of Yeshua. I was just starting my walk with Christ and beginning to see the world differently. The big word responsibility was made known to me on a greater scale.

I had been saved and filled with Holy Spirit since I was a young boy. I can remember waking up first thing in the morning and having prayer and family communion, which was a must. My father and mother weren’t the senior pastors of the church at this time, but they were laymen doing a lot of support work for the local pastor, who had quite a large family with seven children. They were the same ages as us; my mum and dad had six children. As a pastor’s kids, we knew more was required in our household. I thank the good Lord for all we experienced as children; it’s a testament to where I am today in Him.

Yes, we did it all: prayer meetings, conferences, outreach works, Sunday school, church cleanings, and music practises, just to name a few. But I felt something in me was missing.

Around this time, my mother’s sister and her husband were youth pastors. I started to attend the youth nights. A lot of youth attended. I started praying and seeking the heavenly Father. I felt my relationship with Jesus Christ was going pretty well. I asked the youth leaders about future events and how I could help in the youth ministry. Our youth were involved in a lot of dance and drama performances, which I loved. I was used mightily in these outreaches that touched many youth and gave them an outlet of worship and praise. This ultimately led me to writing this book.

God put something in my heart for worship which touched deep into my soul. I was very young and couldn’t understand it until later on in my walk with Him. This opened my eyes of understanding to the call that God intended more of me. Through His Word, it became more evident just how God began to speak and awaken my spirit man to the things of God. I began to ask questions: Who am I in You? Why am I here? What am I to do? What is the purpose of me being on earth? So many questions
