About this ebook

Intimacy with God remains the age long process for accessing and gaining Gods riches.
In the bible, those who ended as generational rulers among men have been Kingdom slaves in intimate with God.
Intimates of God always end as movers of men.
You cannot truly be intimate with God and do not impact your generation!
Keep in mind of the patriarch who reminded about God's covenant of grace with him through a dream. This expression of His love, fortunate care drew Jacob into a closer fellowship with the Heavenly Father. It was at a time when all of Jacob's plans had been frustrated and he had nothing but a stone for a pillow.
Sometimes it does happen in this life when you feel like; you have no one and nothing else except God Himself! That time is called, time of crisis.
There many touching stories which have been told of how the need of Gods intimacy could be used in the hour of crisis. For instance, William McKinley, assassinated American President, alleged to say on his deathbed, words of being nearer to God. And in 1912, as the Titanic was submerged into the arctic waters of the Atlantic sending at least 1,500 people into eternity, survivors said that the band played, the song of Nearer, My God, to Thee.
How can a mere mortal benefit from friendship with God? What probable common ground could bring us mutually in intimacy then?
Intimacy with God is something all should desire. The thought of human becoming friends with God boggle the mind. As small, weak creatures, what could we possibly have in common with the Almighty Creator of the universe?
I recall Gods servant Pastor Verity M. Kotu of Reach Out For Christ Ministries who suggested that, you cant use God in emergency, for He (God) likes relationships. This is to say that, only when you have a problem, you begin to call on God. Dont be surprised if He doesnt come! Even yourself, you wouldnt like people to think of you only when they need your help! Its like they are just using you.
God desires that we know Him intimately.
Chapter five of the book of Genesis lists great men of the past who benefited from intimacy with God.
You can observe that ten men are listed in that chapter, beginning with Adam, continuing through Seth, and ending with Noah.
However, I would like to reveal two personalities whose case was different from the rests. These are Enoch and Noah.
Lets begin with Enoch. The Bible says Enoch was a man who walked with God. In each case the Bible says that each man lived for so many years. You need to underpin the word lived. Every man was said to live from the time he became a father to the time he was buried, with the exception of Enoch and Noah.
In Genesis 5:18-24 the Bible accounts one of those genealogies that are so tempting to leave out or read through in a hurry.
In Genesis 5:22 the Bible accounts that after he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters.
In Genesis 5:24 the Bible also accounts that Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
Two observations
a. The others who were mentioned in that same chapter lived out their allotted time, but Enoch and Noah walked with God.
b. Why concerning Enoch and Noah the word Worked was used? Walked with God is a frequent expression in Eastern part of the world, indicating steady, familiar and confidential communion. With no doubt, it describes intimacy and entails a condition of nearness to God. When the Bible says that Enoch and Noah walked with God, it means they both realised God's presence and enjoyed His communion in an astonishing measure. They grew deeper in intimacy with God, not occasionally, but in a walk that covered three hundred years, and that in a godless atmosphere.
Abraham was called God's friend
James 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. And he was called the friend of God.
Isaiah 41:8 But you, Isr

    Preamble

The World at large nowadays is affected by financial deficit, bankruptcy, State to State conflicts, just to name the few; thus, it is no longer news to say that crisis has become a major concern in the modern World.

Crisis may not be necessarily lack of finances or material possessions, but also spiritual compromise, low moral standard and even intellectual desperation; in other words, it is just another age of darkness.

Crisis is spread far beyond its point of origin and become global in nature; hence it requires a Call-to-Action.

This is why I feel like today’s world gives an impression that we live in the age of instantaneity as Kenneth Boa also suggested.

For instance we have instant coffee, instant replay, instant polls, and instant messaging and all these are designed to help us find instant gratification. There are numerous products designed to speed us up and help us save those precious milliseconds. For example, you can read your email, browse the latest news headlines, and check your stock portfolio on your iPad while sitting in a drive-through ordering fast-food and barking orders to your subordinates on your cell phone.

James Gleick explores our heroic novel world of ‘ever-growing urgency’ in his book Faster: The Acceleration of Just About Everything, claimed that the technology-driven western world has created a ‘multi-tasking, channel-flipping, and fast-forwarding genus.’ Fascinatingly, the more prosperous you are, the more likely you are to be concerned about time.

Sociologists also in several countries have found that increasing wealth and increasing education bring a sense of tension about time. We believe that we possess too little of it; that is a legend we live by now!

Time is short. Life is brief. The Bible even says so in the book of Job 14:1 ‘Man who is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble’. According to Moses also, the years of our lives ‘quickly pass’ as said in Psalm 90:10. As we grow older, we look back and wonder where the time has gone. Each of us is allotted a restricted number of days, and the cry of our hearts is the same as Moses’s; we pray that God will ‘establish the work of our hands’ in Psalm 90: 17.

There have been these long standing concepts which suggest that God’s time is the best and God never been early or late, but always on time. Most probably supported by Solomon’s text of Ecclesiastes 3:11a which says that He (God) hath made everything beautiful in His time (KJV).

In contrast, Jesus at the wedding of Cana did a miracle to change water into wine not because His time had already come, but because of people’s need! Hence, in this book I explore thoroughly these concepts and try to establish the fact that every success in human life can be speeded up even though time seems not sympathetic.

    Because of the Need

    Introduction

This book arose from my life experience and series of anointed messages which I’ve taught in the last ten years or more in most central African countries, South Africa, and UK (England). The series were called Because of the Need and gave concise snapshots of revivals and revivalists throughout the history of my evangelistic, deliverance, and preaching ministry. Being encouraged by my wife, people who have listened to these amazing revolutionary revelations and other friends, ministers of the Gospel, to reach out to people we could not reach physically, I began to consider whether these articles would make a foundation for a worthwhile book.

Prophet Daniel says, in chapter 12 verse 3b: ‘. . . and they that teach righteousness to the multitude will shine as stars forever and ever.’

Upon getting this big piece of truth, I realised that God wanted me to break forth the limitation of my sight!

I also came to find out that one of the utmost spring of crisis and conflict of life is based on personal identity. The knowledge of God’s plan for one’s life is what rescues them from every form of crisis. People get into games of comparison, rivalry, jealousy, and contention simply because they are yet to know who they are! The moment you get to know who you are, you will enhance your worth and get the sense of value; then your success also will be inevitable.

I would like to welcome you in this anointing and move where God of all times has given us the privilege to anticipate or ‘speed up our success’ regardless of other people’s predicaments!

The inspiration of this book is ‘now is the time of success’. We’ve got no more time left. All what we are supposed to do or achieve is about now, because Christ Himself said, ‘Behold I am coming soon . . . ‘See Revelation 22: 12; which means that we are living in the age of ‘emergencies’.

One other example is of the criminal on
