About this ebook

Every child has a dream when they start off in life to become someone great and do great things. Somehow along the line of growth, those dreams are lost. Ninety percent of the world population is lateral, eking out a living by hard work and toil and still have a lot of month at the end of the money.
This writer asks if this is or was the intention of our creator Father. This book explains how our Father is immensely rich and boasts of great abundance. It tells how earths children choose to be poor and how the Creator Father feels sad. Most importantly, this book explains how one can start to live a life expressing the abundance of the universe in total joy and fulfillment. There is proof that such a life of maximum abundance exists and 10 percent of the earths population testifies to that fact.
You don t have to push drags, hit a jackpot, or win a great lottery to get into that 10 percent bracket. Yes, there are some people that have much from such venues, but research has shown that wealth gained in that manner is short lived and few get real satisfaction from it. You could live a life of abundance, a life of your dreams, if you learnt the secrets of linking yourself with the mind of the creator. This book reveals the fact that money and wealth are not the cause of wealth or poverty. It shows that each persons mind, attitude, approach, and preparedness to meeting money and wealth determine whether or not one becomes rich or poor. A persons mind also determines what level of wealth or poverty one will attain.
The words of Solomon, the great king of Israel, then rings true again: As a man thinks in his heart, so is He.

    Introduction

Matthew 6:33. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you which are these things? I presume it is health, wealth, comfort, good relationships, good families, and happiness in marriage and a generally good long life. A life lived so well that one dies from good old age and not from disease as is generally the case nowadays.

Why then is it so apparent that those that seem to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness are sickly, poor, experiencing tough times in their relationships, and many marriages are breaking. Why do most people that claim belief in God seem uncomfortable and die young from disease and terrible pain?

I hope by the end of this book you will understand why Christian have a very Rich Father and yet they are not as rich as their father is,-This is a humbler way of saying,—most believers in God are actually very poor. Many have more month at the end of the money each passing month.

Talking about wealth especially when you are aware of the message to the Laodicea Church (Revelation 3:14) is kind of hard, but wealth we must discuss in this book because it seems everyone is after it and God seems to be giving some people and not others. What is His criterion of wealth distribution? Can He be accused of favoring a few people, forming 10% of the worlds’ population, and not others who form the majority at 90% of the worlds’ population, with the management and ownership of 90% of the worlds’ wealth?

Having read a few texts that talk of God as owning a thousand cattle on a thousand hills, all the silver and gold, the world and the fullness there of, I begun to wonder, why should it be a bad idea for God’s children to be rich? Why should wealth be an enslaving commodity and something to be shrunk from or to be anticipated with great anxiety and suspicion?

I guess we know too much about sin and because we think too much about sin, we consequently sin. If we thought more of God and His beauty, perhaps, maybe definitely, we wouldn’t sin and that which belongs to him, would be ours for an asking and taking or rather receiving. He would surely be most glad to entrust His wealth to our care.

You and Me? Taking care of God’s gold and silver, and a thousand cattle on a thousand hills?

Yes, of course, if we promised Him to use it for the glory of His coming kingdom and to make the lives of His children on earth much more worth living.

Well, the point then, perhaps, is not about wealth and riches but our relationship with Him. Before you desire to go rich or wealth as a child of God, could you consider if your wealth will be to the glory and honor of God’s name.

The important question which needs to be answered rightly is; ‘why do you need the wealth?’

Some need it for just a good name in society and appropriate status. Others have sort it as a way of revenging against the poverty traumatized past of their family and or most times the whole clan. Some still seek it to make humanity in general better, by making other people’s live better. They seek to invest in such courses as fighting Cancer, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Building orphanages, Schools for the under privileged, and many other courses of a just and reputable nature.

Well then, check your reasons and ask God to give you a mind that longs for His blessing for the sake of blessing the world. And by the way, all of humanity has a tendency to love and enjoy doing good, even the person thought to be worst of persons still feels good when he has done something praise worthy.

A careful consideration of people that have done great things in this life will reveal that their reason for asking for wealth was for the ultimate good of humanity. The inventors of the past age all sort only to make life easier for humanity then to make themselves rich. Of course in the process of trying to make life for everyone better they amassed wealth that neither they nor their third and fourth generation could spend.

Study this man called Job in the Bible. It is said of him that he was the eyes for the blind, the ears for the deaf, the month for the dumb, the legs and the arms for the crippled. He was the husband to the widows, and father to the fatherless. Look at the list, it goes on and on and on. I suppose with such a motive, God saw it fit to entrust him with much wealth, knowing that it was in safe hands. God saw it more than fit to make him the richest man in the land of the East of that time.

Before going any further into this book which will tell you how to get wealth from our Rich Father, Check your hands, are they hands that God can trust to manage His gold and silver and the thousand cattle on a thousand hills? Now I should not be understood to mean that those that want wealth for reasons dissimilar to Jobs’ reasons can’t get rich. What I am saying is; it may easily become a very big snare to them that seek it purely to grateful self and self alone. And then the terrible cry; ‘what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and loss his soul?’ or ‘what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?’ (Mark 8: 36, 37) may become a reality to such.

It is not the intention of this book to make you earthly rich at the expense of your eternal life. If that were to happen, the book would have missed its greater purpose. The intention of the authors of ‘the RICH FATHER, with POOR CHILDREN’ is to help God’s Children see that our very Rich Father is willing to give us, His Poor Children, abundantly more then we can ask or imagine, all according to our desire, faith, asking, and acting or doing, that we are able to master.

David was young, he grew old, but through his entire life, he never saw God’s Child begging bread or his seed forsaken.

Psalms 37:25,26 ‘I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed’.

And yet in our time we see God’s Children literally begging bread. They are engrossed in never ending debt and all kinds of loans. And yet speaking about debt the Holy Scripture says ‘owe no man nothing except love.’ (Romans 13:8). Now if we owe friends, banks, shops, and many others with all that I may term as ‘bad debt,’ are we making our father, who hates debt, happy in his rich heaven? I am certain that we are not.

Tell me, if you may what the benefits are of having a Rich Father who does not want you his child to be as rich as he is. A father who does not want to share with his child of his wealth?

If God is like the father to the prodigal son of Luke 15, I can safely say most Christian are living in a far away country wasting their substance with harlotry, squandering their inheritance and drooping down into poverty and then claiming that their father does not want them to be rich. If they could but come home, He would quickly give them a golden ring and the most expensive clothes and shoes. Theirs would be a banqueting table spread in the presence of their enemies. Their cups would be overflowing.

The authors of this book, Linah and Terry, strongly believes that the wealth of this world belongs to God and His Children, but His Children are very poor, destroyed for lack of knowledge on how to tap from their Rich Father’s MBA—Mega Bank Account (Les Brown)

This book, it is hoped, will allow you to take a glimpse of how to be in harmony with God, His natural laws, or what others have called universal laws, and allow you to ‘live big’ in this present world. Making for yourself and all of Gods’ children a little heaven on earth. And as a by the way, whatever wealth you make or get, it shall be nothing when compared to ‘what things He has prepared for them that love Him, them that are called according to His purpose’ in glory land. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

So now, open your mind, sit back and relax. This is our Rich Father’s world. Let us go for GOD and GOLD will follow. That’s our father’s promise.

    Your friends.

    CHAPTER ONE

    DESIRING IT and

    ASKING FOR IT.

    The Promises

‘Whatsoever thing you desire, ask and you shall receive them.’ (Mark 11:24) This statement is well known but not well lived by the majority of people.

‘And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.’ (John 14;13, 14)

‘Whatsoever thing you desire, when you pray believe that you receive them and you shall have them’ (Mark 11:24)

The Bible is full of verses in which God is promising to give His Children anything that they may desire. Most times however, the believers tend to think that these promises mean anything spiritual. This may be the case; but it is very much true that these promises cover the physical needs 100 percent as well.

In fact, there are many promises that actually cover the physical needs only. The key to each of these is an understanding of how to tap into the promises. There are people that have known how to tap into the promises and have found that all of God’s promises are true and He is faithful to keep His word.

He says of Himself that He is not man that He should lie or change (Malachi 3:6). Many have not known how to tap into the promises. Others have heard that it is possible, they have tried but failed to get through and then they have given up.

This chapter looks at the key starting ingredient to tapping into the promises. This is, desiring what you want and then asking for it.

    DESIRE

The starting point of all success in anything is Desire. This desire is not a mere hope or wish. It must be a pulsating desire which goes above anything and everything else. It must be definite. It must be a desire that causes you to burn the bridges behind you as you cross each river going forward towards your goals knowing that you will not return this way again come what may. It’s either you win or you win and no other option, except death. It must become an obsession and when you pray it will show.

‘Give me Scotland or I die’ prayed John Knox. And what choices had God, get this man dead, or give him Scotland. And of course, God gave him Scotland.

The desire to win must have no options. It must not make room for defeat. We have heard of the great warrior who after landing on enemy soil ordered that his soldiers burn the ships they had came with. Having burnt the ships he told his army that ‘we will not come out alive here unless we win.’ And they won. Their desire to leave alive could not be held back. Though few in number they defeated the enemy. There was left them no option but to win.

Every person who must win in this life and with God must cut off all possible ways of retreating. These are points that cause doubt to germinate. Only by doing so can one be able to keep his mind focused on the one goal he has and that is to win. This doesn’t mean you will not meet with temporary defeat. Temporary defeat will come and you must look above it and keep at your goal.

The morning after the great Chicago fire, Sunday, October 8, to early Tuesday, October 10, 1871, in the United States America (USA). The big business owners that had lost their business to the infernal had a conference to decide the way forward. All but a few decided to leave Chicago for some better places less exposed to fire and start afresh. The determination of everyone to start afresh was good. But the courage of a few men to stay in Chicago and start over again there remains to this day a great challenge. The man Marshall Field told his friends ‘gentlemen, I will build the world’s largest store right here where once stood my burnt down store.’ And he did it.

Another example of Chicago’s rebirth from the Great Fire ashes is the now famed Palmer House hotel. The original building burned to the ground in the fire just 13 days after its grand opening. Without hesitating, Potter Palmer secured a loan and rebuilt the hotel in a lot across the street from the original, proclaiming it to be The World’s First Fireproof Building. Though the fire was one of the largest U.S. disasters of the 19th century, the rebuilding that began almost immediately spurred Chicago’s development into one of the most populous and economically important American cities.

This became possible because of the great desire a few men had to stay and grow great businesses right in Chicago. All these men met temporary defeat with a double portion of staying power. From that disaster, the city emerged stronger and with the best fire policies and strategies.

Desire has been said to be a deep seated need and an intense longing for achieving one’s dreams. It is not a mere simple wish. It is an important ingredient to prayer in the spiritual realms. It goes before prayer and intensifies it. Without it, prayer is just a mumbling of words that carries with it nothing that can move the hand of omnipotent to respond favorably to the supplicant’s needs. Without this great ingredient, it is a waste of time and no real blessing can be expected from such prayers.
