Ecclesiastes 9:9-12 9 Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life which He has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity; for that is your portion in life, and in the labor which you perform under the sun. ¹⁰ Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. ¹¹ I returned and saw under the sun that—The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all. ¹² For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, Like birds caught in a snare, so the sons of men are snared in an evil time, When it falls suddenly upon them.

Our arch enemy, the devil thrives on our ignorance. Many issues in our marriage relationship which never occurred to us as anything significant are from our ancestral bloodline. They are the snare keeping us in bondage, although we are born again.

Prayer

Father I thank you for the revelation on Your Order and purpose of marriage, and family life to communicate most desired and desperately needed wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in this most misconstrued, misunderstood and abused relationship.

As we write this gospel truth of Your kingdom, may it bring redemption, restoration and emancipation to the family unit and may You establish Your kingdom in their lives that Your Will may be done by ruling over their affairs.

We declare, vow, and decree that by Your authority the life and the light of the gospel of the kingdom shines abroad in their lives.

May Your Word be like a HAMMER and like FIRE smashing, demolishing, destroying and consuming the works of the adversary and construct what You desire in their lives. Devil quit. Stop opposing God’s redeemed. We testify to you that The Father has opened the portals of heaven, great and effective doors of opportunity as they work His system. We declare to you devil, God’s redeemed are armed with the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God and you should consider them dangerous. Devil, in the name of Jesus The Christ of Nazareth, we cancel your contracts, destroy ancestral familiar altars, high places of devil worship, witchcraft, sorcery, and divination are rendered powerless and have no effect in the affairs of the redeemed of the Lord. By the reason of the anointing we inflict defeat on religious dogma, doctrines and man’s traditions that make the word of God of no effect. We decree destruction on plans and schemes of theft, robbery, death and destruction. Now Father, as your inheritance we submit the relationships and marriages of Your redeemed to Your authority. Father we ask You to give them everything that pertains to life and godliness. In Jesus name, So be it, Amen.

We write this book with an open mind unto God and beseech our readers also to read it with an open mind, so you can understand and receive God’s Will, Mind, and Purpose concerning your marriage. Our goal is to help marriages grow through dedicated and practical teachings from the word of God. We purpose to help husbands and wives thrive in their marriage by providing empowering knowledge to nourish and cherish each other in a healthy marriage relationship. We believe the Spirit of God has disclosed to us the mind of God relative to the reason why He created the first couple was to come into agreement to bring forth His Kingdom, create His Will on the earth as it is in heaven and become God’s model on the earth. Husbands and wives, and anybody who is or plans to be in marriage relationship please understand that The Father desires for you to reflect His order, purpose, blessing, and dominion in the earth. He wants your relationship in the earth to reflect the image and model of the relationship The Father has with The Son and the image of the relationship Christ has with His church (bride). The Father’s desire for you is to be like the first family He instituted in the dispensation of innocence. They believed by speaking God’s Word and created hence brought forth the Father’s kingdom and will on earth. We are writing this book based on the revelation of the Lord to His servant in this important matter that has been most misconstrued, mispresented, misrepresented, misapplied and has brought confusion throughout generations since the fall of mankind.

We warn you some part of our writing might be provocative and revolutionary presentation based on your definition of relationship, sex, and marriage. This book will challenge both the cultural and ecclesiastical norms and confront them with raw biblical truth. You may want to read the totality of the book because if you don’t you may have imbalanced perspective on the matter.

Chapter 1

Marriage Definition

Understanding God’s purpose for marriage is of the utmost importance, because to marry and miss it, is to enter a life full of frustration and disappointment setting the stage for great marital unrest and destruction of one’s life.

Let us look at God’s definition of marriage so we can have a crystal clear godly understanding of the picture of marriage God has in His mind, so we can draw from it.

Creator’s Perspective

Marriage is union between a male man and a female man to establish a familial bond that is recognized by God, granting them mutual conjugal rights and responsibilities to accomplish His plan on earth.

Marriage is a sacred vow between male and female in a holy matrimony who understand that their union is a plan of God for their destiny to create, make, and bring forth the purpose of the coming of God’s kingdom and His Will being done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 KJV – Thy kingdom come . Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

God Started Marriage Institution

God started marriage institution from the beginning. He instituted it in the dispensation of innocence and is therefore a holy institution. God does not extend marriage relationship to same gender (male to male or female to female) union. Same gender marriage is hateful, detestable, obscene, indecent, immoral, abominable and demonic in the eyes of the Creator. It is a kind that is a sickening disgust, most despotic, and most unrequited fetter. From a biblical perspective, however, a proper name for same-gender marriage is legalized homosexuality. Therefore, God created a marriage, a family in His own image. The identity of Family is in God.

Ephesians 3:14-15 – For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.

The Identity, life, and marriage is from God. The name family belongs to God, and He extends it to the union of male and female only. God began marriage institution during creation and gave man (male and female) Dominion on earth purposely to accomplish on the earth what He has accomplished in heaven. He wanted two people on earth to agree on His word, so He can do on earth what has been done in heaven Matthew 18:19 – Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask , it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

The union of male and female who God joins are the only one who can be in perfect union and agreement for the Father in heaven to do anything for them that they ask. God wanted man (male and female) to be on earth what He (Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit) is in heaven. He wanted man to be where he is what God is where He is.

Chapter 2

Purpose for Marriage

Our attitude towards marriage relationship from God’s point of view should be; "What do I Bring or Sow into the marriage relationship rather than what do I Get or how do I Benefit from the marriage relationship." God’s seed principle of prosperity is Sowing and Reaping. You cannot reap without sowing. You must sow the Word of God, acts of love and intercession into your marriage relationship to reap its benefits. The Bible offers guidance for married couples, husbands, wives, newlyweds, engaged and those who are desiring to find their soul mates. Ephesians 5:23-33 describes marriage in relation to God, Jesus Christ, and the Christian faith. We shall discuss this farther under the topic of marriage models momentarily.

Mark 10:1-9 Then He arose from there and came to the region of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And multitudes gathered to Him again, and as He was accustomed, He taught them again. ² The Pharisees came and asked Him, Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife? testing Him. ³ And He answered and said to them, What did Moses command you?⁴ They said, Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to dismiss her. ⁵ And Jesus answered and said to them, Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. ⁶ But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ ⁷ ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,⁸ and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. ⁹ Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."

The gospel according to writer Mark quoted above speaks of relationships as God intended from the beginning. If you want to know God’s way of doing things for yourself, you must go back to the beginning and find out what God said initially so you can do it His way. But the church has given the civil authority the power to define what marriage is and has abdicated its role in truly defining and understanding it spiritually and the world system and the civil authority has taken the definition beyond the biblical definition. Now the church has little recourse to fight the world’s system definition because the church abdicated its right to define marriage honestly, spiritually and not merely civilly.

What we are dealing with now in our generation is a situation where both the culture and likewise the church has it wrong. They have accepted religious and traditional interpretation of relationship, sex and marriage rather than biblical articulation. What we are going to share is not the popular current cultural perspective nor the traditional religious application, but the truth the bible articulates. By reading the whole book you will have counter balance perspective biblical articulation of the word of God with revelation knowledge. We will in church say this though, no matter what condition you find yourself in and where you are there is help and hope. The word of God is never brought to condemn, it is brought to raise the biblical standard and challenge you by the power of the Holy Spirit to aspire to it. So whatever kind of relationship you are in: you are married, single or divorced; whether you are in relationship of Adam and Eve, or Adam and Steve, or Eve and Evelyn. We got to deal with this real situation because it is part of the problem. God’s prophets have been silenced and religion has given inadequated and unbiblical perspective on the truth. We now have a world that is confused and a church that doesn’t know what to say about marriage. However, we are not without answer, hallelujah. The word of God is the answer to everything every time, any time and all the time. We got to believe in the word of God and look at what it says and not impose what we want on what it says.

Mark 10:5 "…...Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept" is a phrase that has been misunderstood and misconstrued. We shall deal with it later but permit me allude to it here. It doesn’t mean that everybody who gets divorce has hardness of heart or somehow is offended.

In this verse, Jesus is approached about the subject of Divorce. Those who were asking were not asking because they wanted to know the truth, but they were looking to do something that they wanted Him to back them up. People come to God not because they want to know the truth, but because they want God to endorse, backup or support their decision. Jesus refuses to take the trap and simply says, if you want to understand anything about relationships, if you really want to know God’s idea of what is proper and improper, if you want to understand about anything God has blessed and will prosper you must go back to the very beginning.

Reason for Leaving Father and Mother

Marriage is not the reason to leave father and mother’s house like religion has imposed on it. The reason to leave father and mother’s house is for what God did in the beginning. Mark 10:6 …But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female. Compare with "Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them and Genesis 5:2 He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created."

To really know God’s idea of what is proper and improper, what He has blessed and will prosper you must go back to the very beginning. You cannot start from your situation, what you beheld in class, read in school or books you read in your house written by unregenerate minds. If you want God’s idea you got to go back to the beginning and see what God did and said and unwrap it from cultural, distortion and religious mythology. Jesus says if you are to understand anything about marriage, divorce or any matters pertaining to divine perspective which includes fornication, adultery, same gender unions, homosexuality, and lesbianism you got to go back to the beginning.

People can live the way they want. My job is not to try to change how they live! My job is to give divine perspective on what God says, and you choose to set before yourself death and life. We must deal with this consequential weighty matter, so we can love people who agree with us and those who disagree with us. Do you give a response to people who ask you about these things? Are you interested in God’s idea or do you not care? You must have something to say about why you believe the word of God is the answer.

Chapter 3

Man Is to Be on Earth What God Is in Heaven

Let us qualify these words very quickly because they are going to be very important as you read on. The old testament is written in Hebrew language and the New testament is written in Greek which are more colorful than English language.

The Hebrew word for Image is Tselem meaning resemblance. The Hebrew word for likeness is Dmuth meaning
