Stephen Scialli
Introduction
by Darlene Hunter
"Intelligent, insightful, provocative, thought provoking and sensuous. Every now and then, you come across someone with such great talent that they stir these emotions. Stephen Scialli is one such writer. He stirs the senses and the imagination. His words are flowing, beautiful and in many cases, pure primal sensuality. He seems to have no limits as what to write about regardless of the subject matter, moods, or imagery. If Stephen writes of a touch, you feel it. If it’s love, you embrace it. If it’s a place or time, you see it. Even if food is the subject, you can smell and taste it. He weaves a tapestry of words, from the single stanzas, to showing the beginnings of a poem, to the finished product.
When asked if I would do the foreword for this book, I was very excited and deeply honored! Words of Want
is an unusual title. The word want
in this sense is used in the same manner as the word desire
. To want someone . . . desire . . . need.
I am inspired by him, moved by his words, and astounded by his talent. His style of writing is uniquely his own and he expresses it in such a way that you cannot help but feel the emotions he so expertly weaves into his work, from the tongue in cheek to the oh, so sensual. It is my great privilege and honor to know Stephen. I look forward to reading his wonderfully talented writing for many years to come."

Preface
The poems and quotes in this book are a mix of old and new. Enjoy them as well as I have had of living and breathing them. Some may seem to be repeats, but I am sharing the progress of creation from stanza to stanza.
The poems unaccredited are all mine and poems w/credit are those whom
