My knowledge is based on actual experience dealing with voices. I used to sit day in day out obsessing about what I was going through. I am a schizophrenic. I hear voices and see things. Also I have difficulties with my emotions. Some might say voices are the mind adjusting because of deep seeded trauma, maybe they’re right. I had a typical life but not any more. This is what I go through and so do others. The book is a group of poems that I have written as a form of making sense of the inner turmoil I go through on a day to day basis. I got hurt a long time ago and this is me working through my issues that has manifested as voices. My illness has actually worked out to be my main support system.
