This book is written to honor the Holy Spirit: my teacher, my

comforter, and my companion for more than three decades.

It is my sincere hope that these words will bring comfort to those

who read as well, and healing to the deepest recesses of your hearts.

Preface

SpiritSpeak started out, initially, as the Bible says word upon word, line upon line until it literally became a ‘book’ in and of itself. Having been a writer all of my life, I knew that keeping all the little notes, pieces of paper and converting them into typed pages was important, whether it was ever published or not. Many of these ‘direct comments’ were not for me at all, but were given to me so that I could share them with specific others. Through these words, I have seen people freed from their bondages; comforted in their pains; given peace in their afflictions and hope for a brighter tomorrow.

I began to ‘hear’ what the Spirit of the Lord spoke to my heart at the very young age of 19 years old. I had no doubt that it was Him, because I speak to myself in harsh, condemning tones. The ‘voice’ I heard inside my heart was soothing, peaceable and always uplifting. It always matched exactly with what the Bible itself says. This is because the Spirit of God will not deny Himself. He always confirms and verifies the Word of God. Having researched this at a young age, I had certainty that it was the Holy Spirit which indeed spoke to me, on various occasions and on a myriad of topics. Sometimes His comments were short and to the point, encompassing a ‘world view’ of sorts. Other times, His words pierced my own heart, as I was being taught how to become a better Christian in my behavior and attitude of heart. Every single word the Holy Spirit ever spoke to me, you will find contained within the pages of these books. Because of my vast archives of ‘comments’, I have chosen to place them into Volume I and Volume II.

It is my intent that those who read will find help for their own hurting hearts; insights into how to grow closer to God in the process; and comfort from the pain which comes inevitably from living in this world.

Acknowledgements

My acknowledgement has to be very diverse and varied, in that it has come through confirmation my entire Christian life. Whatever the Holy Spirit has spoken to my heart, as I have taken time to write down, there has come someone who has said the exact same thing to me. Usually when two people who do not know each other speak exactly the same thing to you, it is God trying to talk with you!! I personally believe that everyone hears the voice of God, whether it is the ‘still, small voice’, a ‘thundering noise’ or ‘the ‘voice of many waters’. These are all Biblical examples of God’s voice; and each of these has been heard by different members of my own family. I think God chooses to speak to each of us in the best way we can hear him. I always spoke so harshly, cruelly and loudly to myself, that if God had come to me as a ‘thunderous noise’, it is very doubtful I would have ever known it was Him!! The ‘still, small voice’ has always been His method of speaking with me. My husband hears a ‘thunderous noise’, as he is quieter by nature and might not discern the difference in the voice of his own thoughts from the voice of the Spirit. My mother heard the ‘voice of many waters’, which awed me greatly. She was nearing death; and she actually saw the waters as well as heard them.

My point truly is, that all of us as Christians are given the ability to hear from God. It is His Holy Spirit which teaches us the truth; which reveals the Word of God to us; who comforts us now that Jesus has gone to sit at the right hand of the Father. Come with me, through the pages of this book. Somewhere, you will find something directly meant for you, which will soothe all your fears and answer all your questions. Remember, God specializes in making dreams come true. I am living mine, so I know this is a fact!

Awakenings

SOMETIMES IT’S HARD TO WALK BY FAITH

Sometimes it’s hard to walk by faith, My child. In your darkest hours, I am ever present and closest to you. I provide strength in your weakness, wisdom in your lack and comfort in your desolation. When the tempter comes to torment you, lean on Me. For I never sway. My Supreme Guidance and direction will lead you in paths of righteousness. As the seed dies, so must you also die to yourself in order that you might live for Me. Be careful of false doctrines and teachings, My child, for many will attempt to mislead you and trap you in deceiving snares. Keep yourself from idols, lest you fall into the path of the ungodly. I have a work for you to do, if you will only give Me your faith and let Me lead the way.

THE ROAD YOU TRAVEL

My child, your burden is heavy. But do not trouble yourself, for I am with you. Trust in Me. I will supply the armor for battle. The words of My mouth shall smite the enemy of your life and cast him away into outer darkness. The road you travel will not always be light, nor will it always be dark. For there is a time and place for all things. Be assured of this: The Spirit that abides in Me abides in you also. I shall never turn away My face from those who diligently seek after Me. Be of a quiet heart. I shall come in the stillness and comfort you.

THE ANSWERS ARE MADE KNOWN

I shall make Myself manifest in you. You shall be known among men as a spiritual leader. The vain search for a sign, but there is none given unto them. The answers are made known unto those who are spiritually hungering and thirsting. Be not of a doubtful mind, for I shall guide you in all truths. Weakness is strength. For I am made known through trials of man, that My power may be revealed. Hope is risen for the lost. Go out into the fields and sing My praises. Sound out My Gospel unto the nations, for the end draws near. Now is the hour of the resurrection. The time is at hand. Fear not the evil of the world. For the Spirit in you is far greater than he who is in the earth.

VENGEANCE

My fury shall overcome all flesh; My wrath will consume the evil; My vengeance is mighty. The signs are among all men to discern; the end approaches. Watch for the new awakening. Rivers shall run dry and spiritual darkness shall prevail throughout the world. Eyes shall be closed; ears shall be shut; hearts turned to stone. Hear My words. For even now, deception runs rampant among those who are spiritually dead. My words are the stones of life which cannot be broken, but are able to shatter the will of man. Seek the truth. Be led not by deception. Revive My people. Go forth into new regions and proclaim My messages. Be yielded to Me. For the time grows short and My people cry out to me for vengeance.

SMALL FAITH

Oh, My little child, be not of such small faith. For I have not forsaken you. I will strengthen you in your hour of need and give you perfect direction. I said I would meet the need and open the door unto you; and it has been done. Do you not realize a part of the purpose in this? For My ways can only be known through searching; and answers found only when sought for. Trust My guidance. I know what I do. It is for your well-being. Be careful of the doubting mind. Have faith to believe. My ways are not easily understood. Faith is the answer to all of your trials. I will not leave you alone in your need.

DO NOT FEAR THE DARK

Be on fire for God, that your exuberance may be emitted to others. I have a great calling on you; if you will only respond to My wishes and act in My will. I will provide a path for you to walk. I have carefully laid the plans. Walk uprightly. Do not fear the dark, for the light is hid in the midnight stillness. Forgive those who have caused you to go astray and turn not away from them. For they are My children also, even in their confusion. The work I have begun in you has many stages in which to pass; but the outcome is worth the struggle. Be not of a doubtful mind. For I shall reveal Myself unto you, that you may fully understand the work I have chosen for you. The time will not be long. The pieces fall into place at this very moment. Be of a patient spirit. My child, you do well to believe in Me and speak My words to the lost and among the spiritually dead. I shall use you to awaken their souls and bring them reassurance of My love and mercy. My little one, be not afraid of what the future holds. For I strengthen you, so that the work I do will be justly filled. For the proud will not listen to a humble spirit, but My children will! Seek My perfect ways. The answer is before you. Can you not see it yet?

BE NOT OF A DOUBTFUL MIND

My child, you disappoint Me. I guide you and strengthen you. I reveal things unto you and still you doubt. Oh ye of little faith, do you still not believe? I have given you My promises. My Word has been revealed to you in great detail. Have you not heard anything? You must pray for what you need. Can you strengthen another when you yourself are so weak? My choice was not made unwisely, for I know all things and I see what the future holds. I have told you to be ever alert. I have warned you against false doctrines. You must believe in Me or all is lost! Your weakness is My strength. For your will is then broken, where Mine may function through you. Do not develop a rebellious spirit, for I have great works in store for you. Listen to my words: Be not of a doubtful mind. For therein lies the problem of your soul.

IN MY CARE

My child, this one is gone from you, now ever in My care. I have taken them unto Me, for I know their heart is sincere. Their soul abides with Me. Do not doubt Me. I have not left you to yourself, but have laid My hand upon you. Go forth and proclaim My messages. I leave My words in your hands. I love you and want to use you in all things. Be not afraid of the future, for I am with you always.

GODLY ADVICE

The ways of man are foolish, yet My ways are wisdom. Seek not the answers in the wrong places, but trust in Me. I shall guide you in all truths. Do not seek for self-glory to be seen among men, but let your conversation be in secret. Do not falter. My strength sustains. Trust not in false doctrines. Beware of wrong teachings. Use wisdom; trust Me; hear Me. Let My will be done through you. You shall be a tool for My works and show the way to many who have fallen short in their paths. Be not of a doubtful mind. There is an answer before you. Seek out My children and meet their spiritual needs. You shall comfort many who seek after Me and renew the thoughts of many who are sleeping. Go slow in self. Move quickly about My fields, for the time of harvest is at hand and My grain is sown unevenly. My hands reach out to touch the sorrowing through your hands. My eyes see the things spiritually discerned through your eyes. My thoughts are implanted in yours. My words flow into yours to teach the children of My Kingdom. Be careful in deed, lest you act unwisely. Wait for the time. I shall open the door unto you. Be not easily deceived. Keep yourself alert for deceivers lurking nearby. Keep your thoughts pure and I shall reveal unto you a mystery. For this time holds the promise of the ages! The time is short. My child: reach out; comfort; teach; tell; help; pray; love; yield.

The spirits are ever moving, seeking service among their members. Let forces of My power be active in you. Through the Holy Spirit, I shall be known unto you. You shall walk in paths of light and be made knowledgeable of all things. The spiritual realms must be made known quickly, for the time is short.

SEEK YE FIRST

My child, listen to Me, for the time is short. You have a mission to accomplish for Me within the lives of others. You sense the sorrows of others so deeply and you quickly discern the burdens of the heart. This is a gift I will greatly use in you. Love is the only answer to your problems. You cannot win a war without first learning peace. Your troubles seem so large. Yet look around you, at the lives of others, and count your blessings. This is a trial of faith. For by faith am I revealed unto you and My thoughts quickened in yours. You are so weak, but reach out to Me, My child. I am ever waiting to minister unto you. Your faith will make you whole, as well as strengthen you, whereby you may help someone else. Be not of a sad countenance; for you have the inner joy that I produce. It is well for My children to comfort one another. For it is even as I would do, were I still in body. Search My truths, for these are life itself. Do not disobey My words. You must strive hard to do well. For someone watches your life, even as you model yourself in another’s. My grace be with you. Look upward and behold the Light shining forth in the darkness. I died for you, that you might live in Me. Now I wish to live through you and accomplish many good works, whereby the multitude may be saved. Seek ye first the things of God, that you may be pleasing in His sight; and all things shall be yours. For

I have paid the price of your sins, both great and small, that you might be clean in the sight of Him.

MAKE HASTE

Go forth as bold brass and deliver My message unto My children. Make haste. Go quickly and do My will.

A SONG OF PRAISE

Sing a song of praise. Give thanks in all things. For I am your guiding hand. I lead you into realms you think not of and reveal Myself unto you in ways you look not for. Be patient and I will reveal much unto you. You see the way in which I work; for I know all things and see the need of each heart. As you go forth to do My will and minister unto others, forsaking your own need and desires, you shall in turn receive blessings to overflowing. Be of a gentle spirit. Seek to harm no one, in thought or in deed. Look about you and keep your heart steadfastly in tune with My will. I have heard your cries. You see the joy that I produce, even in times of sorrow. How much greater that joy is in times of happiness. Trust in Me, my little one. I love you and guide your little life in the pathway of the stars.

YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS

You know to read My word and not to heed false doctrines. Do not try My patience. For I will not tolerate infidelity. You cannot serve two masters. You must learn to discern the spirits! Listen to me. Do not seek the mystical or peculiar. For My ways are not of fear. The opposite of faith is fear; doubt; fret; worry; confusion; misery. Hear Me, My child, for temptation is strong. You must strengthen your faith, for you do realize My power. Do not make yourself so ill over My children, for it is not wise to carry the entire load. Rest in Me, for I will lift the veil of darkness. Your sincerity is pleasing in My sight, for I require yielded vessels. But do not also yield yourself to shameful actions because of temperament. You cannot serve two masters. You must learn patience. Do not continue to be misled. Be of a patient spirit, for I will reveal the perfect time to speak. In dealing with others, be an example of Me living within you. For people watch your life and react accordingly. Be always alert of your actions; for many there are who follow your shadow in search of My Light!! Do not become overly sensitive to only one person. Remember Who you serve! There will be others to reach for My sake; as well as many to comfort you. Mountains come, as well as valleys, but I am always the same. I do love you. I’m here.

NEWS COMES

The signal is given. News comes this very hour. Fear not, for I am with you and shall hold you up. Do not give way to a nervous reaction, but rely on My strength to sustain you. Prepare yourself, for it will not be an easy load.

GRACE IS SUFFICIENT

My grace is sufficient for you. Do you feel that I have forsaken you? Look about you. I have not gone away, but it is you who does not see. Is it appointed unto you to reason why a thing occurs when My hand rests upon it? For all things that come upon you are done in discipline, in love, and in Heavenly guidance. You must not fall by the wayside. The answer is not far off. Faith in Me is, above all, required first. I only answer the cries you send forth when you have the faith to believe Me for them. Remember the parable of the mustard seed? I did not say if you had the faith of a mountain, you could move a mustard seed! You must learn patience. The training is rigid, but this forms a more yielded individual; more consciously desirous of pleasing Me. Look upon this as a time of testing, to mold you into My ways. I have not promised you an easy road to travel, but only that I would never leave you or forsake you! Be quiet, My child. Peace, be still.

SOURCE OF POWER

You know that whatsoever things I do, I do well. I am the only source of power in the Universe. There is none stronger than I. I control the very movement of the planets, as well as every creature that roams the earth. You cannot take from My power and use it to evil means. My power is given in part to you through my Holy Spirit, as a means of strengthening your spirit. My carnal form served a unique purpose in My Divine plan of redemption for the fallen man. My thoughts are well with you. Do not falter in your footsteps, for I shall lift you up and set you on higher ground. Share My words and toil in My fields, for the need is great. People shall run rampant in the streets, crying out to Me. For I am gone, and My chosen with Me. Heed not to seducing spirits; for you know that I am over all that is or ever has been. My words shall be known unto all men far and wide; and quickened in the hearts of My people. Be not slow in action. Make haste. For My day is soon approaching, as foretold by My prophets in days of old, which was promised throughout the ages.

DEATH IS NOT A LASTING SORROW

Death is not a lasting sorrow, My child. For I wait for them on the other side. Hear My words. I call you unto My Kingdom and wish to be rightly centered in your life. The road for you has been hard, but yet it has also held many loving memories. Your loved ones are not far from you. No, ever close to you. For as your heart aches to be with those departed, even so do I ache to call you unto Me. I see your tears in the midnight stillness and reach out My hand unto you. Sometimes I seem far away, but I am merely awaiting your cry. I love you and rejoice in you. I see the tears in your eyes and the merriment of your smile, as you send forth My love to meet others’ needs. Your weakest points are My greatest strength. For in these I may minister unto you and guide your life. My Light shines forth in a darkened world. My arms encircle the world and tenderly caress each burdened soul. My love is made strong through yielded vessels and hungering hearts, seeking My will in all things. Come unto Me. For how much greater My love is for you than that of a human vessel!

COMMENDATIONS

My child, you do a mighty work unto Me. My love flows through you as a running spring. Your yielded spirit is much to My pleasure. You see My messages performed and thoroughly proven. Now reach out to My other children as I have instructed. Reach out to them with a yielded heart. For I have much need to fill them with My Spirit. There are willing vessels about you who need guidance and direction. I have much use for you. You are My faithful servant in whom I find favor. Why is it that you marvel at My works. For is it not true that I work in mysterious ways, My wonders to perform? What seems foolish in man’s eye is but the wisest in Mine. You hear My voice well amid the roar of life forces. Sometimes it’s hard to walk by faith, My child. But oh, what rewards to those who do! You shall walk boldly among My people and minister unto them as I would. Your heart is filled with My praises. Your feet long to run in My paths. I have heard the prayers echoed from your soul. I have formed a unity in spirit with you and this one which shall not be broken. What wonders await you both as you walk onward in My paths. For where one stumbles, the other is there to lift up. In so shouldering the burden together, both are able to ascend the mountaintop.

MY CHOSEN VESSEL

These people are My people also. Many great things shall come to pass unto them. I shall not tarry long in revealing Myself unto them. Many are at this moment reaching out in hungering search of My Spirit. I love them even as they love Me. I shall open their eyes to the truths of My word. Watch this very evening. For in this hour will some be filled with new strength and courage. My chosen vessel goes forth to proclaim My message. My words shall be quickened in the hearts ofmany. Do not doubt My calling upon you. I have many great things in store for those who believe in Me. The time is not long. My thoughts are in the midst. Many shall heed the words of My chosen vessel. Be not dismayed by your trials. For even now they grow dim before your eyes. Watch, for a miracle is not far away!

SPEAK LIGHTLY

You are faithful over a few things. I shall make you ruler over many. Responding hearts are needed for My Kingdom. Go in search of My straying sheep. My little one, be not quick to anger. Such a pitfall is a blazing tongue. It can cut down the best of men and burn the love out of a soul. Trust Me, for I have not left you to yourself to fall in your ways. But as in Abram’s time with Isaac, you must believe in Me to supply the direction of your life. Questioning nothing, but trusting Me in all. Have I not given you abundantly the deep desires of your heart? For worth is not measured in silver or gold, but in the thoughts of the inner man. What is cherished more than love and peace? Can money provide these treasures? No, only I can give you lasting gifts which never perish, but remain forever. Speak lightly of your trials, lest someone thing you rebellious and refrain from heeding My words through you. Be an example of Me living within you. I am of a patient, loving spirit with no thought of harm to any of My children. Be likewise. Let their errors fall by My hand and not yours. For I judge all men according to their works and will mete out discipline as deemed fitting in each situation.

SEED OF TRUTH

You see My power in the midst of all. You realize what your doubt reflects in My presence. I do not take lightly the doubting of My people. You have seen of old that faith is required in all My followers. The greater their faith, the greater works done in My behalf. I guided you in the deliverance of My message. Do not be dismayed, for I would not send you to destroy, but only to build up. The seed has been planted. Now begins the new growth. The seed of truth must first be buried in the heart before the fruit of the Spirit can come forth. Watch yourself, for the enemy’s strongest hold in your life is the doubting of your mind. As in the days of old, My people lived in the midst of many signs and wonder; yet still they turned away in unbelief. Do not become guilty as these. For I have given My promises unto you and proven My messages before you; that you might be yielded to My calling and walk boldly in My Light. Love Me as you love yourself. Trust Me in all things. Keep Me first in your life, ever heeding My voice.

WALK ONWARD

My child, do not grow weary. Faint not, for I am with you. You are weakening quickly. Be on guard, lest the enemy trap you. You have followed My direction and I have used you to reach My children. I will continue to do so; but, you must resist temptation! Do not allow doubt a place in your heart; neither let fear dwell within. Deceiving words are convincing enough. Be not blinded, for I have shown you that your work for Me was not in vain. I have not used you to destroy your character. My hand has rested heavily upon you. There are those who attempt to destroy your character at this very hour. Be not afraid. For I go with you through the battle, and shall slay those with the sword of My mouth. Walk onward, My child. Lose not the glory I have bestowed upon you. I will greatly increase your knowledge of Me. Do not let self creep back into the center of your life. Put your flesh aside and walk in the Spirit. Fear not the attitudes of men; but fear the wrath that is to come upon all unbelievers.

HEAR YE, HEAR YE

My power is upon you; My grace is unto you. Walk in My Light; for as the night comes, even so the day is not long off. I have loved you with a fervor and rejoice in all My little ones. Angels on high camp round about you to protect and keep you. A song is raised; a tune is sounded; a soul is reborn. Live not carnally, but follow Me in Spirit. For how much greater are those unseen rewards in Eternity, where Almighty God may see. My children flee from Me; and go about building houses upon the sand. I yearn to call them unto Me. I reach them through yielded vessels. Go, in My care. I will instruct you and minister unto you. Be not afraid, nor of a doubtful mind. For much shall come to pass in your lifetime. Watch for Me. I await my Father’s command. Keep yourself pure in heart. Speak softly to others; cry
