CHAPTER 1

The steady pattering of rain against the broad window relaxed Jericho as the bus swung into the campus bus stop. He knew he should savor the feeling while he could. In a few days, he would be elbows-deep into a new college semester, with all the usual hassle and tension that involved.

Yet, Jericho had also never in his life been so eager to get back to school. Or, to be more honest, to get back to his two dragon girlfriends on campus.

He wondered if that really was the right word for his relationship with Surun and Aura. The term ‘girlfriends’ kind of implied a deeper emotional connection. He certainly did care for them, but everyone had kept things very casual so far. The three of them barely had six weeks together before the fall semester ended and they all had to return home. He had been out of state for over a month to visit his family during winter break. The dragon girls also took the opportunity to return to their homeworld through the Crossworld Gate in New Mexico for a few weeks.

Jericho wanted to get closer to Surun and Aura, but he didn’t quite know how to carry things forward. He’d been a virgin when he first met them, and navigating all the unfamiliar complexities of an ongoing relationship would be difficult enough if his new partner had been a single human woman. Being shared between two saurian females twice his size was literally unknown romantic territory. He supposed he would just have to step carefully with them and see where things would go.

He departed the bus shouldering a single large duffel bag. Most of his things had already been sent ahead to his new residence. He pulled his jacket tighter against the cool drizzle outside.

Jericho realized his emotional ambivalence was really only a minor complaint about his situation. He could not have asked for a better sexual awakening than those weeks last semester with two horny dragonesses. Both Surun and Aura were well over eight feet tall and had proven to be quite a handful with their seemingly endless sexual appetites. In those six weeks he’d had all the sex he could handle.

His brother back home had mentioned that Jericho looked trimmer and more muscular than before the school year had started. Of course Jericho was reluctant to mention that his near-daily work-outs were essentially keeping up with the horny demands of female dragons.

Jericho was startled out of his musings by a dragon’s silhouette in the rain a few hundred feet away. Much taller than a human, with obvious wings, tail, and horns. Was that Aura? Or Surun? He started to call out, but stopped himself when the shape became clearer. This dragon, though unmistakably female from her outline, was blue in color. Definitely not Surun’s dusty orange nor Aura’s rosy magenta.

He had heard that a few other dragons may be joining the campus this semester from the Crossworlds exchange program. The newcomer must be one. He contemplated going up and introducing himself to see if she needed any assistance, but he was already running late. The girls would have been expecting him at their dorm by now.

He kept walking. He resolved, though, that when he saw that blue-scaled dragoness again, he would definitely do his best to make a good first impression.

CHAPTER 2

In the late 1970s, the United States tested an esoteric theory about the creation of kugelblitzes. A kugelblitz is a black hole created solely by concentrating vast amounts of energy into a single tiny pinpoint. Using relatively small but carefully constructed and synched atomic weapons in an underground test, the scientists sought to create a short-lived black hole that would, in theory, evaporate away within a few milliseconds.
