Introduction
Christians ask many questions of themselves, some of them might be – what does God think of my values? How can I find out what values he wants me to have? Humans are the only ones on earth with the ability to communicate by spoken and written word. We are also the only animals that require spiritual guidance in our lives. The Bible provides a communication between God and humankind. It provides the spiritual guidance we need. God, being our creator, knows what we need more than we do ourselves. His son, Jesus Christ said, No, rather, happy are those hearing the word of God and keeping it.
Can we really look at God’s word the Bible and think that it can make a difference in our lives today? Or is it just a book that is outdated? If we use the advice we find written in the Bible and follow it’s advice, can we be happier people? Can the Bible help us in our family life? This guide will examine all these questions and answer them.
God’s word assures us at Isaiah 48: 18: O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
We all want to be happy. But none of us are perfect, so we have to ask the question – Will having good morals and values make me happier? Many people believe in what the Bible says and they try to pattern their lives after what it advises, and most of those people are happier.
In this guide we will take a look at several areas of life and what the Bible says about them. Any quotations from the Bible are taken from the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. This translation affords us the use of the English language with which we are all familiar, without the use of archaic words.
Marriage
What challenges do you and your mate face in your marriage? Do you and your mate see ‘eye-to-eye’? There are many costs to weigh when thinking about marriage. The divorce rate in America today is over 50%. If you are looking for a mate, can you find the person that is
