    Redroe Ziggs the eldest of Mr. and Mrs.  Donald Ziggs six children graduate from secondary school and although he could read and write up the secondary level he graduated without passing a single cxc subject.

    Redroe you graduate now, Mr. Ziggs said to him after the graduation and they reach home, you know that I am a little disappointed.

    Yes daddy, I know you are disappointed, I should have done better.

    Still I’m not going to curse and fight, but still boy I am telling you that you can’t stay at home, I know you love electronics, you are a practical man, I am going to send you to electronic school when the next school year begins.

    Yes daddy, thank you I won’t let you down. 

    Redroe then walked to the children's room, close the door and started to cry, he knew he had disappointed his father but he promised himself to work hard, study hard and graduate as an electrician and let his father feel proud.

    His father death came sudden and it left the family shock and devastated, Redroe could not start the studies he so looked forward to.Being the eldest Redroe was suddenly saddled with the task of taking care of his mother and his younger siblings.Redroe was still toying with the idea of studying electronics but after consultation with his mother, he decided to let it wait for a little as he was now had to take up the mantle and become  the  family sole breadwinner to help his mother and to allow his smaller siblings to  stay in school and continue their  education .It was a sacrifice he was prepared to make, and after doing all of that he would peruse his electronics studies.

    The cool clime of the rural village was ideal for the farming Redroe was prepare to undertake and make it his life’s ambition, the area was blessed with regular rainfall and a calm river running alongside the property.

    Mommy I am going into farming without any regrets, and through it, I will see the family through, he said to his mother.

    Son go for it, we will stand with you and I am proud of the decision, I know that your father would be proud too, his mother said standing up to embrace him.

    Redroe farm banana, coconut, pear and oranges and had a pig farm and some cattle, his mother to show support rear chicken but on a smaller scale. Redroe was satisfied and had a high level of contentment.Through his farming, his family lived a respected standard of life and he took comfort in the fact that he was able to care for his mother and continue schooling his brothers and sisters. The whole village was proud of Redroe as he tends to his animals and his farm. Transport operators often came to in the village and because of his farm, many other farmers in the village were able to find a sale for their products and livestock. Redroe offered employment to many youths on his farm in the calm rural community and also employs periodically some of the others youths
