Chapter One
∞
Walking down the hallway of this house was the most normal thing for me. I had been doing it for several years, and it wasn’t even my house. My best friend and I always had sleepovers in her house. So, I had gotten used to walking up and down these halls and stairs and going into the kitchen as if I was home.
I was currently heading down to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. It was Friday, Sam’s parents had left to their jobs, and she was still sleeping. She could honestly sleep all day, not me though. I had been accustomed to waking up at six in the morning, even if I didn’t want to, but I didn’t want to bring those memories up. As I went into the kitchen, I noticed a jacket on the living room’s couch, which was right across from the kitchen.
