For all my people who ever wanted that life full of adventure in the Supernatural World

No Human is Perfect or Will Ever Be…Remember That!

    Chapter One

I always knew I was special, but I was just to blind to see it, because of my race in life. My family struggled and it was just plain horror to watch and even though I feared it, I wanted it to change, and soon my wish came true. My parents won a ‘Giveaway Sweepstake’ for a free manor in Natchitoches in New Orleans, Louisiana no rent to pay because they own it all. They also won two new jobs- as well as a young (hot) butler too, so after that, we packed up our things and took that one day drive to New Orleans.

Although to me, something felt off about this win, from the moment that night when I got kidnapped by a demon Jason and was saved by my butler. That right there struck a bullet and soon curiosity consumed me, and I soon learned the truth. I was the next Moon Priestess and would soon be taking the throne this Halloween night under the glowing blue crescent moon. The same moon I was born on when Ella -the previous Moon Priestess- died that same night. And the only reason I’m even in this messy situation is because of her killers…Paradisa and Lo’Gan her former knights before they betrayed her and took her out forever. Leaving an adopted son alone and in pain. Not only that, but they took the disc plates of her Crescent Staff, Yin, and Yang, and hid them away.

Ella remains with us in spirit form, but only until I take the throne, then will her soul rest in peace. So, until then, she is kind of like my spirit teacher when teaching me about the supernatural world and my duties. While we still search for Yin at the same time. It’s been hard since Lo’Gan found out we found Yang a month ago, so now he’s playing hide and seek games with us, which really pisses me and Alex off. But we will find Yin and reunite her with Yang and claim my throne come next month and that I promise.

Now if you want to learn about my normal life, it’s going just fine. My parents are still my parents and have no idea about my secret. My job is going well and being able to do what I love every day couldn’t be better. Lastly I and Alex have been non-stop lovey-dovey together, still no second base yet but hey I can be patient, I just don’t know how long though. But I can surely say that I love him and he loves me too and with that passion we share, it can never be broken apart. No matter if our whole relationship is a secret to others. Now let’s get on with my wonderful story….

It’s been a month now since we saved my parents from Paradisa. Once all that was over, everything went back to normal-well my version of normal anyway. Paradisa still sends her goons after me and rebels like to try me too. But with Alex by my side as my trainer and knight, defeating them was always easy, but it soon got more complicated when Lo’Gan started making his move. Sending his goons was annoying, but we took them down as well, but I soon began to fear that more would be coming and they could be our demise.

It was early morning, on September 10th a Monday, and I was enjoying my lovely sleep until very warm hands woke me. I smiled as I turned to face my beloved Alex. I’m sure I had a bad bed head, but he didn’t care and kissed my forehead.

Good morning mi-lady. he whispered gently in my ear. I giggled at his flirting attempt Good morning my sweet Alex. I responded. I was resting wonderfully in his huge bed only because we decided to watch a movie last night, but both fell asleep on it. He held me in his embrace, seductively kissing my neck. Making me laugh even more, while playfully trying to escape his grasp.

Really. You're ruining our little kid's sleepover with your adult kissing. I said in a joking tone. He laughed at my joke and finished on. It felt so good, making me not want him to stop. Hoping we can finally go all the way and with him wearing this thin tank, showing off all his muscles, it just made me want him more. I moaned when he bit me. Okay, okay, what really brought all this on Alex? I asked. He looked at me, lust in his glowing red eyes. "Wait! Why are his eyes glowing when he’s in his human form?" I wondered.

"Sorry, it’s just you looked so cute asleep, but I know it would be wrong to take you in your sleep. So, I thought I would wait until morning." he explained in a sexy whisper. I smiled at his action, thinking well my hair is already messy. I pulled him closer and kissed him hard. Him keeping up with my action, griping and massaging my bottom. I couldn’t help but moan with pleasure. Then…an alarm clock went off and he stopped everything. I looked at the clock and he went to go turn it off, it read 6:30. I heard him give a slight growl while grabbing a towel from the dresser. Since I knew his agenda already from our daily talks, I knew he was off to the showers then upstairs to assist my Mom with breakfast before they headed off to work. I got up and made up his bed for him to lessen his time of getting ready. I smiled at the thought of what could have happened this morning and snuck back upstairs.

My shower was relaxing and the water felt great on my skin. I was sad it had to end, but I soon got ready for breakfast and slipped on my plaid red shirt and skinny leg blue jeans with some black flats. I didn’t have to be into work until late evening because school was back in session, my schedule had to change to better suit them and the parents. So, my mornings were back free once again until winter break hit. To think when winter comes it will still feel like summer and no snow at all, it was sad, but me and the snow never got along anyway. A knock came at the door. Come in! I yelled while doing my hair. The door opened and Alex entered to tell me breakfast was ready and quickly left to tell my father too.

I walked downstairs and greeted my mother with a hug while observing her new hair color. Why does she want to be like the young kids? I’ll never know as she now has a dark blue hairstyle. Good morning sweetie. How’d you sleep? she asked.

Good until it was ruined by time. I answered shrugging. I went to go sit at the table and observed what we were having. It was omelets and from the size, I could tell they were stuffed. She placed one on my plate than everyone else’s. She looked at Alex.

So, Alexander besides being our butler, do you have any plans in life? You know once you make enough money here. she wondered. I stared at her, then Alex and started wondering the same thing. Would he move out?

Oh, well, for now, I plan to do this as a career. Since I did major in hospitality in college. Then maybe once I make enough money I’ll start my own service business one day involving more people like me. he explained. My mother looked impressed with his answer while giving me a wink. My father saw and quickly gave me an evil growl. Just to help you all understand, when my mother winks it means he’s a keeper, marry him. Then with my Dad, he means do it and he’s dead! Overprotected dads, you got to love them, right? I smacked my forehead and drooped my head.

Can you guys ever stop being embarrassing? I mumbled, with them both laughing as a response and Alex smirking in the background.

    * * * * *

Both of my parents were off to work and I decided to go upstairs and grab my jacket. Since school started back, me and Alex decided to spend our time alone outdoors. I love nature and spending time with him, so when you have both, it’s pure heaven. I ran back downstairs and met him at the door. He smiled and opened the door for me, I left out and he followed. While walking to the bus stop, he extended his hand and I grabbed it, smiling. He looked at the clouds, while I secretly observed him. He was wearing a white short-sleeve buttoned-down shirt with black slacks, vest, and shoes. His hair tied back in a ponytail because he decided to stick with his medium-long hairstyle instead of going back short. But I didn’t mind because it only made him look hotter.

The bus ride was short and quiet, but once we entered the city the quietness was killed. Usually, we would go down to our neighborhood outdoor market, but because of season change in other states fresh fruit became out of season, so we had to go to the grocery store within the city. This would be my first official time here in a place called Fast Shoppin. The building was all white with glass windows all around it and sliding doors in the middle. Carts on the side of the building, Alex grabbed one and put his bags inside. Then before we went in he began searching his pockets, making me roll my eyes and laugh.

Looking for this? I said, pulling my parent's debit card out my pocket. You left it on the coffee table by the door, so I grabbed it for you.. I handed him the card and he put it in his vest pocket.

Thank you, Crescent. Oh, and the only reason I forgot to grab it was because I was distracted by your beauty. he said. I nudged him in the gut, letting him know that was so cheesy. I decided to help him shorten his walk through the store and pick up some of the items on the list. Looking through this store was just mind-blowing, the store's whole theme was urban nature, every single piece of equipment and shelves were made of wood. Holding a torn list in my hand (he had the other half), I was looking for a jar of dill pickles. "Only you Dad." I thought, shaking my head. I found the pickle aisle and when I was about to grab a jar, a shiver hit my spine.

I looked around in fear but everything seemed normal. So, I decided to ignore it and finish my shopping. Every item we needed was in the cart, so we entered the checkout line. Since it was so early and everyone was at work, no one was in line, so within two minutes our bags were packed and paid for and we were out of there.

Are you sure you don’t need any help with those bags baby? I asked. He was literally carrying all the bags, which was drawing lots of attention, mostly from girls.

No, I’m fine. These bags are like feathers to me. If you know what I mean mi-lady. he answered winking. I giggled at his bad humor but soon stopped when that shivering sensation came back. This made me stand still in my tracks and look around with fear. No way, they wouldn’t attack us out in public, right? I mumbled.

Crescent are you okay? Do you sense something? he asked staring at me. I nodded and soon we were pacing to get back home. Sure, I mean it could still attack us there, but at least no innocent civilian would get hurt. We went behind a tall building which was actually the Justice Corporation building. Unleash! I summoned. My staff appeared and I focused on teleporting us home. A white and black light surrounded us both and soon we were off. But as we were traveling through the vapor of light, a shadowy figure, quick as light, grabbed me. And all I could hear was Alex yelling my name with worry.

This figure held me tight, making it hard to break free. But soon that wild grip and speed came to an end as this thing let me go. I looked around and noticed we were in a pitch-black area. Then torches began to light the area, revealing to me that I was in a cave, but no exit to be found. That thing soon began to make noise and when I turned to face it. Its whole body lite on fire, a deep blue fire, and his face was covered with a white skull mask. From its structure, I could tell it was a man as he began to walk closer. Stay back! I yelled. To my surprise, he listened, holding out his right hand a golden scroll appeared out of thin air. Then he laid it on the ground and vanished, making the cave exit appear right in front of me. I went through, not knowing what would be in my present. Home? I mumbled.

I couldn’t believe it I was home and coming right in the nick of time thanks to my teleportation was Alex. He came running towards me with worry completely forgetting about the groceries’. He embraced me tightly, observing me for wounds.

I’m fine Alex, really. All that thing did was leave this scroll. I guess for me to read. I explained. Alex looked at the scroll with worry and told me to open it. I shoved it to him giving him the ‘you’re the one with healing abilities’ stare. He rolled his eyes and opened it and revealed cursive words in red ink.

Be warn my dear pawns. This game you plan to play will not work on me. Just know that I am watching your every move and if you think you can get one step ahead of me then you’re highly wrong. Keep one eye open and enjoy my playful servants for now. As our time will soon come for us to meet very soon. From the King of the Underworld Lo’Gan. he read. We both looked at each other not believing a single word on this scroll. I mean sure, I knew we would hear from him soon, but this was just too soon for me. I heard a faded ticking sound, I think Alex did too as we both looked at the paper. He threw it high in the air and it exploded.

That’s some heck of a way to send a message huh? I see Lo’Gan doesn’t play around. I spoke but noticed Alex went back to his butler ways and began to quickly pick up the shopping bags and put them in the manor. I followed him to the kitchen and stopped him straight in his path. Please, don’t worry baby. Everything will be alright. He, no, they will not win and that I promise…and you know me when it comes to promises.

    You always keep them.

    Exactly.

But, how could you remain so calm knowing that if that demon wasn’t a messenger, you could have died. Then knowing that our backs have to be watched consistently? he questioned. I looked him in the eyes and placed my hand on his cheek. He looked at me wide-eyed and slightly placed his hand over mine.

You can see from my shaken hands…that I’m just as scared as you Alex. But I just know that I can’t let my fears and worries get in the way and even know I hate to admit it. But thanks to Paradisa and her stupid time paradox, I would have never learned that.. Alex's face and body suddenly changed right in front of me. Thank God, my parents were at work. He kneeled before me and kissed my hand.

"You are always right mi-lady…and with those words, I make a promise to you…and that’s to never let you fall into the hands of evil as long as I breathe this air of life." he claimed. Just hearing those words, made it seem like we were at a wedding and he was confessing his everlasting vow. I smiled and maybe let a tear out or two and embraced him tightly, knocking him to the floor.

"I’m counting on it, my knight." I whispered close to his ear. If we could I would stay like this forever.

    * * * * *

Alright, you guys let’s start with our ten-minute stretches, I said.

Yes, Ms. Moon! they all screamed in return. Finally, my work time had arrived and as I looked out the window the sun was setting.

Strange, isn’t it? How fast the sun sets here, then back in Chicago. I turned around to see Lance handing me a bottle of water.

Thank you…and yeah, you’re right. It’s way different from where we’re from, but I have to admit its more beautiful here then it was over there. In fact, you couldn’t even see it because of the tall buildings and trees, but here you see it just fine. I expressed. I crept my eyes over to see he was smiling, but it wasn’t at my comment on the sun. What are you so smiley about? I asked. He blushed at my question and quickly went back to his office. I couldn’t help but giggle at his childish action.

All my life it has been easy for me to read ‘common’ guys and figure them all out. But the only two that have left me speechless with mystery. One was Alex of course and two, was, of course, my first crush, Lance. I remember, that back when he was my babysitter, I confessed to him about how I felt about him. But he only took it as a joke always telling me ‘when you’re older, then will I take you out my cutie.’ When I was a kid I believed him too, but now that I’m older I know it was just all a playful joke. And now that’s he’s older, I now have my powers back to read him like an open book. His blushing face, oh come on, it’s easy to tell he starting to feel something for me, but I no longer for him.

So, I guess it would be best to keep my distance and for his little werewolf secret. We still haven’t had a chance to talk about that or even let him know I know his furry secret. But to be honest, he’s not a part of my soul mission right now, so I really don’t care about when I decide to talk to him. Okay class, let’s get this lesson started. Everyone hit the beams and show me your best axels! I shouted. Looking back at his office window, seeing him staring directly at me with lustful eyes. I couldn’t help but slightly blush.

My class was finally over and as a little reward for their excellent work, I decided to give the kids some cool stuffed animals. I technically had all girls except for Michel, who I decided to buy a little car key chain for his backpack. The other teachers were all in the locker room changing, so I decided to join them. Crescent! they all yelled with glee. I smiled at their emotions and waved ‘Hi’.

Can I ask why everyone is so happy? I wondered.

Well, the only reason we have to be happy, after working with those germy kids…and that’s pay-day. Crystal explained. She was kind of like my mentor for the first week on how to make lesson plans and what to do when children would cry and stuff. She was the oldest out of the four of us, but you surely couldn’t tell unless you asked her yourself. Having short spikey orange hair, blue eyes, and mild-pale skin. Her body had a little pudge to it, but she was still one hell of a gymnast.

Yeah, but not only that. The boss is being kind and invited us all to dinner this evening! Faith exclaimed with a really girlish expression. She was another teacher here and was probably the only teacher who was close to Lance age. Her beautiful model figure kind of reminded me of Max. But what really made them different was Faith tan skin, amber eyes, and long curly brown hair.

Really!? I said, shocked. I had no idea, how come you guys didn’t tell me?

Sorry, we forgot that Ally was supposed to tell you, but she had a family emergency and had to leave early. So, are you still going or what? I mean a free dinner and that’s also the only way to get our checks. Well, our checks considering Crystal has her checks linked to her credit card. Faith explained. I really needed my check because I wanted to buy something super important for a certain someone, but I also have training too with that person. Is it really okay to miss it? I let out a huge sigh nodding ‘okay’.

Once I was all changed, I texted Alex the news and hoped he would understand. We all got in Lance's car and took off. As I rolled down the window the fall wind felt amazing on my face. I felt eyes on me and they were Faiths, she pointed at the rearview mirror and giggled. I looked and once again
