Jules
I have four children and four grand children and have been telling them stories since they were babies. What I find interesting about children is that they naturally love to use their imagination when you encourage them to do so. These Bubble's World books are about the imagination and where it can take you and just how important it is to use your imagination. This is the sixth book in the series and it is called "Isabella's Magic Dream" and it is full of exciting journeys with animals in middle earth. I currently live in Punxsutawney, but I was born in Zambia, Africa. I have also lived in Australia and England.

missing image fileEinstein.jpg1.jpgWhat a gorgeous sunny day! Isabella skipped and hopped as she kept up with her family taking an afternoon walk. Her mom and dad were busy chatting and laughing at her antics when Vincent noticed the groundhog hole. Isabella was twirling in circles and lifting her face up to the blue sky. Before he had time to shout out to her, she had already stepped back into it. To everyone’s horror and disbelief, they saw the hole open up and swallow her! Vincent and Ben ran as fast as they could and tried to grab her but it was too late.
‘Mommy! Daddy!’ she cried out with her arms outstretched but she could feel herself falling down into the cold hole.
Suddenly Isabella saw Bubble and heard her cry out calmly, ‘I can’t come with you on this journey Isabella; you need to go alone. Find Queen Tovi as she will give you an elixir to drink which will heal you and then you’ll be able to come home.’
Isabella could hardly make out Bubble’s last words because she was falling deeper and deeper into the black. She wasn’t worried about falling; it was the darkness she didn’t like. Tears welled up and her stomach felt funny.
Isabella came to an abrupt stop and was surprised that she didn’t feel any pain from the fall. Something soft had protected her landing and she carefully reached down to feel what it was. It felt soft and furry to the touch. She couldn’t see what it was because it was pitch dark. No longer able to control herself, she started to cry; she felt so alone. Curling up on the soft object, Isabella had no idea of time and it didn’t seem to matter anymore.
The ground beneath her began to move and she sat up startled.
‘Who are you and what are you doing in my house?’ asked a gruff voice.
Isabella quickly tried to move away but didn’t know which way to turn‘I … I’m sorry,’ she said in between sobs. ‘My name’s Isabella and I don’t know where I am. I was taking a walk with my family and I fell into a hole and landed here,’ she replied crying.
‘Don’t cry Isabella. I’m always a bit grumpy when I get woken up from a deep sleep. Let me light a candle so that we can see what we are doing. My name is Sam and you fell into my hole; I’m a groundhog,’ said Sam, with kindness in his voice.
Isabella felt Sam move away and then she heard some ruffling. Suddenly, in a flash of light Sam was standing next to a candle. He was standing on his back legs so that he could reach it. Isabella had seen groundhogs in her garden at home and she loved the way they stood on their hind legs to look around. She watched him as he made his way over to what looked like, a small kitchen. Picking up a kettle, Sam walked over to the sink, filled it with water and
