Some may ask what coming from behind the curtain means and how it relates to my life and the choices I make daily. Let’s first take a moment to define the term Coming from Behind the Curtain in its figurative meaning. We will then take a journey together as we reflect on our past and the life that we are currently living.

Coming from Behind the Curtain…Let me make a comparison to one of my greatest loves, theater. In theater, a curtain is used to cleverly mask what’s really on stage. When you enter the auditorium, you enter this magical space filled with the expectation of what’s to come when the curtain is opened. The curtain is thick, usually velvet, and visually appealing to the eye. Of course, it has to be. Why? This curtain has to deflect attention away from the set positioned just behind the curtain. It is used to hide the set, props, actors, and all things not meant to be seen until the perfect time. In life, many of us spend time hiding behind the curtain as we work to get things perfectly situated behind it. As long as the curtain is up and hiding my life’s stage, I can work through my issues and act in secrecy. Thank you
