The liver is a large, reddish-brown fleshy organ situated on the right-hand side of the body. The liver is divided into two sections; the right lobe and the left lobe. CHAPTER 1: WHAT IS A FATTY LIVER
A healthy liver translates to healthy living. The liver has many functions to carry out and can sometimes be overwhelmed thus limiting its efficiency in carrying out these functions. A fatty liver occurs as a result of fat accumulating in the liver. Fats are important to the human body because they act like a shock absorber to the delicate organs like the heart and liver. On to the contrary, excessive fat on these organs can become fatal and dangerous leading to complications.
