About Dr Sandra Cabot

Dr Sandra Cabot is the Medical and Executive Director of the Australian Women’s Health Advisory Service. She graduated with Honours in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Adelaide in South Australia in 1975. She has helped millions of people all over the world with her books on health which are published in 11 different languages.

As a medical student in the early 1970s, Dr Cabot started studying complementary therapies. She spent time sitting in with leading naturopaths and homeopathic doctors to learn about their methods. This was considered somewhat unusual for a medical student during this era, as such treatments were still considered questionable.
