He then went to the University of Aberdeen in the UK, wh...view moreDr. Boateng obtained his medical degree at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology School of Medical Sciences in Kumasi, Ghana. He then went to the University of Aberdeen in the UK, where he earned an MSc and PhD in Clinical Pharmacology. He returned to his alma matter as Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology before coming to the USA to do a residency in Internal Medicine. He followed with a felloship in Nephrology and is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Boateng is passionate about the prevention and treatment of disease using simple, natural remedies. So he studied and became Board Certified in Integrative Holistic Medicine. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine with the University of Utah.
Drawing on his personal encounter with kidney disease, and his passion for natural treatments, Dr. Boateng has been researching natural remedies and therapies to prevent and treat chronic kidney disease. This book is a culmination of this years-long research. view less
