About this ebook
What remained a mystery still remains a mystery but the secrets of the Bible is now revealed.
“...the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord's people.” - Colossians 1:26 NIV
The Bible remains a mystery (from the greek mysterion “μυστήριον”, plural mysteria “μυστήρια”). But it is through the Holy Spirit we would receive the wisdom and understanding in reading God’s Word. The Bible is full of examples – the Saints who served to spread the Good News, and Jesus himself who died for the world’s salvation – that showed us how to live according to God’s path and apply His word to enrich our lives.

"Sometimes in life when we are handed a problem... we just go on and do the best we can. That way we survive the challenge and can achieve victory." Kenny Yao is a retired Businessman turned Writer from San Francisco. A widower, he is a father of four sons. He is now residing in Manila. It all started years ago, when witnessing one of the most destructive typhoons in his local city, Kenny was inspired to build an evacuation center someday to help those in need. The image of a chopper hovering down a rooftop to rescue a group of stranded family, became the inspiration for the very first scene that Kenny wrote for his debut novel, "The Sun Day". Up to date, he has written and published novels, a collection of short stories, poetry, and Biblical non-fictions.

Thank you to my sons for their support. As always they were always behind and beside me. To that special someone. Thank you for the love.

Prologue
Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ. I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning.
– Ephesians 3:8-9 NLT
This verse from Paul to the Ephesians clearly states that the WORD of God has been kept a secret from the world and would remain a complete mystery for all except to the privileged ones through the Holy Spirit. I myself have read the bible twice over, once when I was still a teenager who didn’t know any better, out of boredom. The second time was in my late twenties, when I learned about Jesus Christ who saved me from my dreadful self, and my sins. I must say the WORD really hit me. It changed my life – a life of selfishness and carelessness to a lively and colorful one, where I did everything with the blessing of the Lord. Anything I did was for the Lord. I was twenty-nine then when my life totally turned around. It was then my first time to travel to Israel. I was emotionally affected with overwhelming surprise as I walked the Via Dolorosa, where Jesus passed on His way to Golgotha,my opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, right in His own homeland! This paved the way for me, from a life of a series of failures to a life with a purpose.
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
