Sofia Ramey

Sofia J. Ramey is a 7 year old second grader at Mount Carmel Elementary school in Mount Carmel, Tennessee. She is a member of KHK Martial Arts school in Kinsport, Tennessee. She holds a Black Belt in Taekwondo and was invited to try out for the Nationals in March 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee.  She earned one gold and two silver medals. She is Sally Su Su.

Chapter 1

Leaving Home

In the beginning, Sally Su Su lived with her family on a farm in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. It was long hours, and very hard work on a farm and her father expected everyone to pull their load. And that included Sally.  Sally told her parents farming was not what she wanted.  Sally read books of a magical land that was somewhere in the Smokies Mountains.  Her father told her to get that out of her head; it's nothing but a bunch of nonsense.  You have to eat, and farming is our way of life in the Smokies.

As nightfall came, she began to pack for a journey in which she did not know where it would lead. So let her journey began!

Chapter 2

Meeting Ronnie

As she stepped off the porch, she began to realize there's no turning back.  After traveling down the road, she decided to make camp under a big oak tree.  An old man asks if he could join her in the campsite. Please do, said Sally Su Su.  He told her his name was Ronnie.  She explained to Ronnie why she was there.  As Ronnie listens to her story, she broke down to cry.
