    You will also be directed to various non-traditional ways to make money with the United States government.  This will include websites and or phone numbers and other helpful resources. There may be some information available that will display compensation for completed activities.

    We are exposing you to some of these methods in this book so you can be aware that these facilities exist and if used properly they can help you generate extra income to get you out of some money situations. (Amounts and activities will vary)  Some of the characters in this book have used these methods to make ends meet and they have used the money for deposits and other necessities. 

    We cannot guarantee that a government facility will choose to use you or your services.  If you use these methods and you receive payment you will be required to fill out a 1099 form at the end of the tax year because you will have performed services as an independent contractor.

    It was a crisp Autumn day.  Mira loved the color of the leaves and the grey skies. (Her name means Wonder in the Latin language) This was her favorite time of the year; she noticed the beauty and the atmosphere of the season but she couldn't’ enjoy it. Mira was in a hurry to get to the train station.

    She had just left her three-month-old baby daughter home with Henry’s grandmother.  Henry was her boyfriend. (Henry in the German language means One who rules his household)  Mira gave up her apartment and was staying with his grandmother because it was cheaper, also it was her first pregnancy she was getting sick often and she didn't ’want to be alone. If something went wrong she wanted to be around someone who she thought could help.

    Mira went down the subway steps. She could smell the faint smell of urine, it was not as strong as it was earlier in the week.  She swiped her fare card and pushed against the turnstile she then proceeded up the stairs to the train platform.  She was careful not to get to close to the edge of the platform because there were quite a few people who were getting pushed in front of the trains that month.
