About this ebook

It's the year 2035 and erotic author Jaya Sartar has been running from a stalker fan for over three years. Now she is tired of running, and of always being afraid. Her only comfort has been her electronic lover, the robot Bot Bryn. Bryn was her dream man—he held her, comforted her, and even spanked her. But all technology needs an upgrade, so when a recent stalker sighting gets Jaya spooked, she orders the biggest, toughest, most perfect android on the market—and tricked him out with the latest defense and pleasure technologies.

But Bot Bryn has a secret that will change everything. He has waited for over two years to be with his bonded. Half machine, half man, his world needs women or they will die. Six light years away from his world, Bryn is bound to tie his female to him. For years she thought of him as a computer, but this computer had a Valentine’s surprise just for her.

    Chapter One

Jaya Sartar stared at the computer screen and once more looked at the price—$30,000. She tapped the keys on the keyboard with her fingernails and sighed as she clicked the Buy button. It wasn’t as if she didn’t have the money, but still, even to her $30,000 was a chunk out of her savings, especially if said cyborg-man/machine decided to reject her.

The wind howled and little pellets of ice hit her windows, distracting her for a moment. Jaya didn’t know why, but she always felt as though someone was watching her. She rubbed her arms. One more reason why I need him, she mumbled. She’d reached down to grab her credit card when the shutter slammed against the side of her house. Jaya jumped and screamed at the same time, grabbing her chest.

Okay, cyber man, come protect me, please. Or should I say Mordock, or whatever your name is?

With her hands trembling, Jaya punched in her credit information and highlighted the speedy-delivery option, not caring that it would cost an extra thousand dollars to get him down from the space station and to her home by tomorrow. Her Valentine Cyborg needed to be here now.

For five years Jaya had been in hiding, and she’d moved more than six times. She was tired. Now she had the home of her dreams, her books sales were finally taking off, so she didn’t have to work outside her home, and for the first time in 15 years, Jaya was happy.

She stared down at her scarred hands and arms. At least I won’t have to worry about Mordock cringing at the sight of my scars, I hope. Jaya smiled as she remembered her conversation with the bot last night. For the last two years, she had fallen asleep with the bot Bryn. Each night in her dreams, he would take her into
