ROMA
by
C.A. SALO
Roma chuckled as a Galactic Forces General came to stand beside her at the bar. Well you look like you’re having as much fun as I am.
Roma met his gaze out of the corner of her eye.
What is it with those females?
They want a man in uniform and you sir are the highest ranking one here now.
Lifting her drink, Roma sipped slowly. She met his gaze in the mirror behind the bar and smirked when she noticed the flat bluish features of a Trilobite female striding toward them. Here comes another one for you.
By the Gods, I just want a drink.
I’ll help you with that. No man should be deprived of a peaceful drink.
Roma turned, met the girl’s eyes. He’s busy.
With what?
the blue-haired female asked.
Me.
The smirk—never mind the badge she showed by lifting her shirt just enough—had the female scurrying away. And there you go my good General. Peaceful drinks.
Need a job?
He chuckled as the bartender slid a glass his way.
I already have one, but thanks.
Hey, a good protector is hard to find.
Roma turned, taking in his appearance and wondered if he’d be frightened off like all the others if he knew what she did. He was a good looking male, height over six feet, and the uniform of the Centuri Galactic Forces did nothing to hide his strength. Yes, that’s what I hear.
Gorian.
Roma shook the hand he extended. Roma.
So Ms. Roma, what is it you do for a job?
His gray eyes twinkled with mischief and she liked it. Let’s just say it’s a specialized area.
Specialized, I like that.
Her gaze followed as he lifted her hand, rotated it slightly and kissed the inside of her wrist. Her pupils dilated and her pussy clenched. She hadn’t been with a man in a long time and this one just ignited every desire she’d kept hidden.
How long?
To long. You?
Same. I didn’t come here looking for this.
Me either.
Roma lowered her hand as a Galactic Forces officer stopped beside Gorian to murmur something in his ear. The General’s gaze never left hers.
Deal with it, Major.
Gorian said.
Ah General, there’s something you should know.
He said, his gaze sliding to Roma.
Busy.
Gorian responded.
Gorian!
Roma lowered her gaze the moment Gorian turned to look at the Major. Well that’s it, he must have found out who she was. Sliding off her seat, Roma quietly and quickly exited the bar by the side entrance. That was the one thing about what she did. Unless the males were in her line of work, they wanted nothing to do with her. Too bad too; her body hadn’t reacted like that in a long, long time. Damn.
Shoving her hands into her pockets she started back toward her room for the night. Now she’d have to take care of pleasuring herself. Fun, but not as fun as it could have been.
Roma gasped as she was grabbed from behind and turned, ready to defend when a mouth landed on hers. Her nostrils flared. Gorian. His clean scent washed over her senses. Tingles streaked through her as she wrapped her arms around him. Her body softened against his, and she moaned when he took command of her mouth. Gods she loved a strong male.
Roma panted when she smelled his musk. Oh, the Gods have blessed her well tonight. He was a Kothorian warrior and they loved a passionate bedding. The light breeze of her breath against his neck caused goose bumps, and he smiled as she bit.
Gorian groaned his hand at the back of her head, in her hair and yanked. Where are you from? I don’t want to hurt you.
Otho.
I will get rough.
Thank you.
Gorian growled, taking her bottom lip between his teeth. He bit and met her gaze. Her pupils dilated and her body quivered.
Roma swiped her palm across the pad
