    For as long as I can remember, game nights and holidays are the best days for our family. Not only because we get to see family members and loved ones whom we haven’t seen for quite some time, but also because it is the time when the best food, all-American favorites and even our signature dishes are prepared, laid on the table and devoured. And speaking of our all-time favorites, nothing beats plates full of crispy breaded chicken, fish and chips and even deep fried donuts!  And while these are the dishes I grew up with, these are also the main reasons why I have become so unhealthy.

    You might have already guessed that my love affair with deep fried dishes is very deep- so deep, that I can say that we definitely go way back! Personally, I didn’t have to wait until poker night, movie night, birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas for me to have a reason go out and buy a bucket of chicken or a bag full of fries. Everyday, was deep fried food day! Little did I know that its health related side effects will eventually sneak up on me.

    Well, I have been asked so many times, what’s wrong with that? And all I had to do was to show my before and after pictures to answer that question. My brush with high cholesterol and blood pressure levels and of course the dreaded weight gain made me realize, I should give up fried foods altogether. And while I became healthier and leaner, my love for the deep fried never ceased. I still missed munching on those chips – so eventually I felt deprived and hungry.

    I had to look for a way to enjoy my all-time favorites without the threats of weight gain and heart attacks. This was when I discovered that I can achieve my goals with the help of an air fryer. And you better believe it when I say that it has completely changed my cooking and of course my eating habits.

    So today, I share with you this book, inspired by my journey towards a healthier me. Inside you will:
