Athena was an extremely attractive, hardworking but fairly dumb woman. She was an administrative assistant to Mr. Peterson, a high ranking executive at a prestigious company, though what the company actually did was a bit of a mystery to her. It was something to do with finance, but she could never remember exactly what. At 27 she should probably have figured that out, but so far it hadn't been an issue, so she didn't worry about it too much.

She arrived at work a few minutes past 9 and entered her office. In actuality it was really Mr. Peterson's outer office, which meant it was huge and mostly empty save for her desk, a file cabinet and some chairs. She was late, as she had been out the night before with friends. They had been on a mission to get her laid but after staying at the bar till closing time, it turned out the cute guy she had her eye on all night was gay. Luckily, Mr. Peterson had gotten to work early that day and was in his inner office so he was none the wiser. She started answering some e-mails right away and it wasn't until she was filing some paperwork late in the morning that she saw him emerge from his office. He rushed past her with barely a hello.

He was a fairly good looking for a man his age, somewhere in his late forties she figured, but no one she was interested in. Not after what had happened with her last boss. How she had let that guy talk her into sleeping together, she couldn't recall, but it hadn't ended well and though she had learned that lesson the hard way, she had learned it.
