About this ebook

Cathy's dreams seem to be fulfilled. After graduating from college, she marries her high school sweetheart and they move to a new town to start their life together. She gets a great job, working for an older gentleman who insists she dresses professionally in skirts or dresses. No pants, he insists, claiming he's old fashioned that way. Soon, however, she realizes it's because he enjoys ogling her young, petite body.

Fred thinks it's hot, and encourages her to display more and more skin, to tease the old codger. She's initially disgusted, but finds herself becoming aroused. How far will Fred encourage her to push the limits of their marriage vows? How far will she allow him to push her?

Writing these stories provides me an outlet to express my innermost fantasies. I love hearing from readers who have been moved by my stories. Feel free to drop me a note anytime. Many of my stories are based on my fantasies. Some of the stories are based on the fantasies of others that have contacted me. But all of them are fantasies. We have no control over our fantasies, and many of them will always be just that; fantasies, not real. I don't necessarily condone the behavior of my characters; some of them are a bit lecherous, I'm afraid. Some are rowdy. And some might just be a little nasty. But it takes all kinds. I believe that men, deep down, have a strong need to worship and adore their lover. I believe that women, deep down, have a strong need to be worshiped and adored by their lover. Most of my stories reflect those beliefs.

She sat nervously, waiting for the man to begin. She had interviewed before, and was always a bit nervous, but this time, more than ever. This would be her first real job, rather than the part time positions she’d interviewed for in the past. Those part time jobs weren’t necessary for her livelihood, they were merely to provide pocket change, for entertainment or things her parents wouldn’t provide.

Now that she was a married young woman with responsibilities, it was much more critical to make a good impression. Particularly since the ad listing had specified Must dress, speak and present yourself professionally. She was wearing what she assumed was her most professional looking outfit, since it was the only outfit she owned that included a jacket. The skirt was cut above the knees, not too short, and the silk camisole was sheer, but was fine as long as she kept the jacket on.

He had a printout of the resume that she had emailed him, and she saw that he had scribbled some notes.

I’m familiar with Bowdoin, he began. It’s one of the best liberal arts colleges in the country. Your grades were very impressive.

    Thank you.

A big part of the job I have to offer would require you to respond to emails and draft letters, as well as edit the ones I draft. I know you’ll be able to shine at that aspect of the job, with your degree.

Yes, a degree from Bowdoin requires excellent writing skills.

The other part of the job requires excellent communication skills over the phone, or in person. Most of my clients call in, but a few, especially the older ones, want to communicate face to face. As you become more knowledgeable on my business and products, I expect you would be able to answer some or most of their questions. At first, you’d just take a message for me to call them back. Either way, a pleasant telephone presence is necessary.

I also purchase leads, and I need someone to follow up on them every day, to try to set an appointment. I have a script. You’ll read from that script. I also have a list of the most common objections to setting an appointment, and the statements that will help overcome those objections. If you get one of those objections, you’ll read the statement to overcome it, then jump right back into the script. Do you believe you’ll have trouble with the telephone?

No, I don’t think so. It sounds simple enough.

It’s very simple, but that doesn’t make it easy. In fact, it’s the least pleasant part of the job, and the reason that I have trouble keeping an employee. Most people dread the phone. I’d like to do some role playing, to see how you handle yourself. First, I’ll be the person calling to set the appointment, you’ll be the client. Okay?

    Sure.

Ring, ring, he said, holding his finger to his ear and his thumb to his mouth, as if holding a telephone handset.

Cathy did the same with her hand, and said, Hello?

Hello, Mrs. Parman. My name is Rick Foster. I just received a reply card from you, based on a brochure on life insurance that you received in the mail, and I was just calling to see if I could answer any questions for you.

Oh, I thought they would just send some information in the mail, she said, reading one of the objections.

Well, without knowing anything about what you’re looking for, I wouldn’t know what to send you. For example, I don’t even know your age, or how healthy you are, or whether you smoke, so I don’t yet know which carriers would be a good match for you. You wouldn’t want me to fill your mailbox with information on products you don’t want. Do you have a moment to discuss those details now, over the phone, or would you prefer to set a time when we can meet at your home or office?

The conversation went on this way for a few moments, and at the conclusion, they agreed to an interview.

I think I could learn to do that, after a little practice, she said.

I’m sure you could, he said. But I can tell you that most of the people you call won’t be as cooperative as you were. But I will make it worthwhile. For every appointment you set, you’ll receive anywhere from $40 to $100, depending on whether the type of policy they want, assuming they keep the appointment and I actually meet with them. Medicare policies, which have smaller commissions, will pay less. Life, Annuity or Long Term Care policy appointments pay more. You set me ten appointments per week, you can earn an extra thousand per week.

That was new information. Cathy was excited, since the salary wasn’t that big. They needed the money badly. Fred had gotten his dream job, right out of college, but it paid very little, and living in Boston was extremely expensive. He had always dreamed of being a reporter, and the local TV station had hired him in an entry position, off camera, but it was a start. From the time she was sixteen, she had known that she would eventually marry Fred, and when they graduated, and he got the job, they finally were able to do so.

At the end of the interview, Rick agreed to hire her, and she couldn’t wait to tell Fred.

Just one more thing, Cathy. You look very nice, and that’s important. Most of my clients are older, and expect the professionals they deal with to dress in a certain manner. Not only are you attractive, you present well. I prefer professional dresses or skirt outfits, rather than pants. I guess I’m just old-fashioned. And clothes that accentuate your positives are encouraged. Here’s an employment package that you’ll need to fill out. Please take it home and fill it out, and I’ll see you Monday.

Cathy was so excited, she couldn’t stop talking at dinner that night.

And I have the opportunity to make an extra thousand per week, above and beyond my salary, she said.

Just for setting appointments over the phone? Fred asked, incredulously.

    It seemed improbable.

He said it wasn’t all that easy to do.

It turned out, Cathy’s enthusiasm was so contagious, she was fantastic on the phone, and within two weeks, she was setting three appointments per week. With every successful appointment, she got more excited, counting her bonuses.

    "I’m very pleased with your
