Writing these stories provides me an outlet to express my innermost fantasies. I love hearing from readers who have been moved by my stories. Feel free to drop me a note anytime. Many of my stories are based on my fantasies. Some of the stories are based on the fantasies of others that have contacted me. But all of them are fantasies. We have no control over our fantasies, and many of them will always be just that; fantasies, not real. I don't necessarily condone the behavior of my characters; some of them are a bit lecherous, I'm afraid. Some are rowdy. And some might just be a little nasty. But it takes all kinds. I believe that men, deep down, have a strong need to worship and adore their lover. I believe that women, deep down, have a strong need to be worshiped and adored by their lover. Most of my stories reflect those beliefs.

Hard Discipline 2 - Ron Dawes

    The Disciplinarian Part 2

    By Ron Dawes

    Text copyright 2020

Now that he was to assume command of the school, there was much to do, with little time to prepare. There were only days left before the end of classes. Under normal circumstances, Cunningham’s responsibilities would be winding down. Final examinations and grading, then a long summer vacation spent idling as he pleased. However, with his new responsibilities, there would be no time for rest; he had much to learn, and many ideas to implement.

There was one matter which, above all others, would be important to discuss with Cooper immediately, before the end of the term. I say, Mrs. Cooper, he said at lunch that day. May I have a word with you, at your convenience?

Certainly, Mr. Cunningham. Would you like me to come to your office after classes?

That’s not necessary. I don’t wish to inconvenience you. I’ll come to your office, if that’s quite all right.

What can I do for you? Mrs. Cooper said. It had been two days since he had used her so violently, and she thrilled, thinking perhaps it was time again. He could see the excitement in her eyes, and he almost relented. However, it was important to teach her that he would decide the schedule, and today he had an important matter to discuss.

One of the responsibilities of any commander is to carefully select his lieutenants, don’t you think?

Yes, I suppose so, Cooper said.

Yes, quite right, Cunningham went on. A single weak link in the chain of command can compromise the entire organization. I’m certain that you’ve experienced this first-hand, with as many people as you’ve hired over the years. Am I correct?

Yes, quite so, she agreed, depressed that it appeared he was approaching her with legitimate school business. She had hoped he had come to punish her.

And if I am to run the organization in your lieu, I must have a free hand in the selection of the personnel. Do you agree?

uh.., she hesitated. She hadn’t considered that.

Nobody yet knows of the changes we are implementing, but we must announce them to the staff and parents within the next few weeks. There is one matter that I wish you to handle prior to that announcement.

    Yes?

One of the reasons that your school is one of the finest I’ve encountered is because of the care you’ve exhibited in hiring only the best of the best. I must say, the faculty at this school is outstanding. That hasn’t happened by accident; it’s obvious that you have an uncanny eye for talented educators.

Cooper glowed at the praise, from the only man that had ever noticed her.

There is little that’s more difficult than determining the character of a person without knowing them, so it would be remarkable if a mistake weren’t made from time to time. I’ve made those sorts of mistakes myself. Because the task is so daunting, I’d like to ask you to agree to assist me in making those selections, in the future.

The truth is, Cooper had never considered the possibility of relinquishing the responsibility of hiring teachers, even though Cunningham was to assume the responsibility of running day to day operations.

I know it’s much to ask. I know that you crave the daily interaction with the students that taking on a class load will provide, and I know that it’s unfair to burden you with administrative tasks, as well, but there it is. Would you consider it? We would work closely together, as a team. It’s possible that you will spot talent that I wouldn’t, or the other way round. What do you say, Mrs. Cooper?

Why, yes, I would be very agreeable to working together closely.

Excellent, he boomed. And, just as important as recognizing talented hires is admitting mistakes, and correcting them. I’m afraid that Miss Williams does not represent the sort of talent that your school is known for. Would you agree?

Mrs. Cooper did agree. She had hired the girl hastily, when her predecessor left with little notice, and she had regretted it more than once.

After I’ve assumed management, I wouldn’t ask you to handle unpleasant aspects of my job, but in this situation, since you’re the one that hired her, I wonder if you would let her know that her contract will not be renewed for next term?

Yes, I will do that, this very day, to allow her time to find another situation.

And now, to other matters. One of the advantages of being a teacher is the long summer recess. However, as the owner of this establishment, you have responsibilities greater than that of the other teachers. There is much work before the fall term, and I’ll need your assistance, more so this first year than in the future. I’m not asking you to give up all of your summer break, but we’ll need to work together closely for at least the next few weeks.

Cooper had never had a summer recess since founding the school, and hadn’t considered the possibility. Now that she thought of it, however, there was no reason she couldn’t have at least a short break, if Cunningham proved to be a capable administrator. She had no doubt he would. But in the meantime, she glowed at the prospect of ‘working together closely’ with Cunningham. Her butt still ached at the beating he’d given her two days previous, but the pleasure that had accompanied it was unlike any she’d ever felt.

I’ll be happy to stay on this summer, to help you with the transition.

It’s agreed, then, Cunningham said, taking his leave.

The parents were surprised to learn of the changes proposed, when they received the letter from the school. Still, it made sense; a military man to handle administration, a capable educator returning to her classes. None of the parents withdrew their students from the program, at least not because of the change in management. There were always a few withdrawals, for one reason or another. A family moving to one of the colonies to take a position, or one of the students marrying before their education was complete, or such. Thus, there were always some openings for new students, and there were always a few applicants for those positions. Now it would be up to Cunningham to host the parents of prospective students. There could have been nobody better suited to represent the school than the tall, handsome man. Any reservations the parents might have at sending their child to a girl’s school, run by a man, dissolved quickly after meeting the man. He had the manners you would expect of an officer, and was an asset in selling families on the school. Before the summer was halfway over, enrollment filled and a waiting list begun.

One of the earliest new applicants had a name Cunningham recognized, though he couldn’t remember why. She was an older student, entering her final year, and showed up with her mother. The daughter was strikingly beautiful, but the mother was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen. When he read the girl’s recommendations and qualifications, he remembered where he knew the name. The father was the Duke of Beaufort. Cunningham remembered that the Duke was an old man, very much overweight, and had lost his first wife about twenty years earlier. It had been a bit of a
