They had always had a satisfying, loving marriage. They were childless, by choice. When they met, he was a sales rep, pitching his product to Millie’s boss. He was older, with dark, wavy hair, and he was dreamy. He noticed her immediately. Who wouldn’t? She was really cute. By the time he finished his third appointment with Millie’s boss, he’d already made one sale. He had scheduled his first date with Millie. They were married within a year.

His impotence issues began in his early fifties, but they didn’t affect their love life. With a few playthings, fresh batteries, and a dose of Viagra, there was still plenty of fun and intimacy to be had. By the time Dave was fifty-four, the doses of Viagra were stronger, and the lovemaking less frequent.
