The heat is almost unbearable. The HVAC technician has been here for hours and he still can’t fix the problem with the air conditioning. It’s almost 100 degrees outside and I swear it’s 150 degrees inside. Everybody is grumpy and sweaty and miserable and even the veterans have all left to find cooler quarters. Meanwhile, the three of us sit around staring at each other and grumbling.

Okay guys, I’m sorry, but it won’t happen today. I tried to make do with what I have, but I need to order the new part, and the soonest I can get it here is tomorrow, explains Bob our heating and cooling guy.

All right, I give up too, says Noah throwing up his hands and shrugging his very broad shoulders. "Let’s just go home and work from there. Alicia, you can leave your car here and ride with us. Bob, if you could order the new part please, and get the air conditioning running as soon as you can, that would be great.’
