The inspiration for this story came as a result of a gift on my birthday of a Buddha Board from my husband.

While I was using it one day, I decided to apply the data of letting go. I was practicing this and during this time, the inspiration for this story came to me.

I hope you will enjoy it.

I am a single mother of a son

Hello! Let me introduce myself. My name is Audrey Gagnon. I am the single mother of a son.

My journey started while living with my parents in the very affluent neighborhood of Aberdeen & Forden, in the Westmount area of Montreal. I attended the same exclusive private school from kindergarten to grade 12.

My parents always provided me with the best. The yearly school fees averaged $20,000.00 a year. I was their only child and they were completely willing to pay whatever was needed in order to help me succeed.

I was raised in a very exclusive environment. I had a few friends and a boy friend that were living in the same circle of very wealthy and privileged people. He was a gorgeous looking boy. You know the type of good looking guy that you wish was so famous that you could own a poster of his picture and be able to hang it on your bedroom wall? Well, this is the way I felt about him.

While I was not sure if I was in love with him, he surely had this irresistible charm that made me fall for him. His blond curly hair and his brown eyes made me want to be with him. He had awakened something in me that made me feel good about being a young woman. With time, it became an intimate relationship.

After a few months, even though I still felt a certain amount of affinity towards him, our relationship didn’t last. The truth is that while my parents thought very highly of him, I really didn’t love him and he really didn’t love me.

It was an adventure without a tomorrow type of relationship. We parted with nothing even close to sour feelings towards each other. It was time to move on and that’s what we both agreed
