Chapter 1
George was so upset that he didn’t know what to do with himself. It was bad enough that Mr. Hudson had left his Bluetooth device behind. George wasn’t dumb, he knew Mr. Hudson had done it on purpose. Without it, George had no way to track his movements, or to try and talk any sense into him. George had given Mr. Hudson a list of targets, and he’d gone out on his own to take care of them. Unfortunately, George feared that meant Mr. Hudson was going to do things his way and not George’s. The news reports all night long had confirmed his fears.
Eleven confirmed dead, all murdered in some grotesque way or another. Most had involved dismembering of some kind. That was bad enough, but the latest breaking story was just too much. The nightclub George had told Mr. Hudson about was burning to the ground, and it was packed full of people. Firemen had tried to get in to rescue any survivors but found all the exits padlocked. Mr. Hudson had locked all those men inside and set the place on fire. He’d left them trapped, left them to burn alive. What kind of man could do something like that?
George hated the gang, hated what they’d done to the Hudsons. But what Mr. Hudson was doing was wrong, and George was going to have to tell him that. He couldn’t be a part of this anymore. It had gotten out of control. It was to the point where he was starting to be scared of Mr. Hudson, not sure if he could trust him. George was scared to tell him how he felt. Scared he might snap and kill George too. But he had to do it…he just had to. The sound of the front door opening tore him from his thoughts.

Randy gently closed the door, hoping to avoid the inevitable confrontation with Georgie for as long as possible. He knew the kid was going to be upset. Randy knew that Georgie was not going to agree with, or understand,
