The story of Homeless finally continues...
Randy survived the bloodbath at the safehouse where Mark was being kept, leaving a trail of corpses behind him. But the one corpse he thought for sure he'd leave behind is not only still alive, but now under his protection. Mark revealed something to Randy that, if true, will change everything. Now, Randy has to get Mark somewhere safe so they can both heal up, regroup, and find out if Mark is telling the truth, or just trying to save his hide. But with the entire New Age Brotherhood and the crooked Detroit Police Department hunting the injured pair, will they survive long enough to do so?

First story in the Homeless series! Randy Hudson has it all. A wonderful family, beautiful home, and a successful, thriving business. But Randy's oldest daughter, Rose, is turning his perfect world upside down. Even worse than Rose's disrespectful new attitude is her disrespectful new boyfriend, Mark. There is something off about the arrogant teenage boy...and Randy won't rest until he finds out what. Get started on the first story in the Homeless Short Story Series. This is the first story of 7 that were originally published as the novel HOMELESS (now a collection called HOMELESS: Origins). From here on out, the series will continue as ongoing connected individual stories. Story Arcs containing a few stories will be grouped together and released as a "novel". A wonderful marriage, beautiful family, and a successful, thriving business. Life was good, until one night he lost everything he held dear at the hands of a bloodthirsty and ruthless gang. Following the tragedy, Randy slipped into a deep depression, into the bottle, and off the grid of existence. Living homeless on the streets of Detroit, Randy is eventually reminded of what he lost and how he lost it. The same gang that destroyed his life is now running roughshod over the city. living the life of kings. And that doesn’t sit well with Randy. Fueled by a long forgotten anger and need for justice, he decides to put all his energy and focus into one thing...revenge.
