    NAYTON PHANTOM BAYLISS

I sat comfortably in my office chair with my eyes glued to the monitor as I watched my lieutenants walk into the conference room downstairs one by one. Standing at the head of the table was my baby brother Naytel, who everyone knew as Boog. In the streets and even in the crew, everyone knew him as the head honcho of the Money Getting Mafia (MGM), but I’m the real nigga in charge. Our father, Nygel Bayliss Jr., had passed this drug operation and reputation down to us when he was killed by our mother. Yeah, I know it sounds fucked up, because it is. Right in front of us, she blew that nigga’s brains out, then her own. Leaving her 9-year-old and 12-year-old in the world all alone, and that’s why I chose to never mention her name. Anyway, our grandparents raised us and our uncle Big Tank ran the business for a while. I never wanted anything to do with it but once Big Tank went to jail, Boog was ready to take over. So even though my mind was set on never going anywhere near the drugs, my brother needed me. Since the day I held his eyes to protect him from seeing our parents fall to their deaths, I promised I would always have his back no matter what. So if he was all in with this drug shit, then so was I. By this time Boog was 17 and I was 20, so of course I had to help with the business side of it and be the logical voice of reason. I was attending college at the time, so of course Boog was on the front line of things when it came to keeping people in order. Now I’m 27 and Boog 24, but not much had changed. And after so many years in the game, a nigga was ready to retire because of all the bullshit you got to deal with. Like now, one of these niggas thought it was okay to steal my money. See, people knew me and Boog were brothers, but they had no idea that I had a hand in the drug shit. Especially considering I’m the founder, owner, and face of a successful matchmaking company called, Bayliss Baywatch. Boog and I also owned a couple of restaurants throughout California. Boog stayed on top of the empire, while I was on the forefront with the legal businesses. I was always out and about, doing interviews and making public appearances. I was slick like that. I could make somebody believe I was a good person, when in reality I wasn’t. I never felt bad about the crimes I committed. The only thing I cared about was my family, money, and anything that’s going to help me make more of it. I’d always been that way. Boog always told me I was like a ghost hiding in plain sight; that’s where the name Phantom came from. He’d been calling me it since we were little and today, with the exception of a few others, he’s still the only one allowed to call me that.

My focus was brought back to the monitor when I heard Boog start to talk. I always let him take charge of the crew; I’m only around for observation and plug transactions. Besides him, no one knew I was there, and no one knew I was watching because no one knew who I was. But I knew that if Boog missed the thieving ass nigga, I’d definitely be able to spot him out. One thing I hated was when niggas tried to get over on my baby brother. It happened one too many times because niggas think he’s alone out here, but that’s far from true. I knew he was completely capable of handling himself because the nigga was off his rocker, but that didn’t mean I’d ever leave his side.

I’ma ask y’all niggas one time and one time only… Boog spoke sternly as he leaned forward with both hands planted on the table. He had a gun in his right hand that was pointing towards the other end of the table. Where the fuck is my bread? When no one answered, he picked his gun up and held it at his side as he started to round the table.

My money is missing and unless you niggas are fucking dumb… Y’all should have counted the shit before y’all brought it to me. So either one of y’all bags came up short and you’re covering for your runners, or one of y’all pinching my shit. Boog rose his gun and pointed it around the table. He couldn’t tell who was guilty. I knew because when he was finished pointing his gun at each member, he turned and looked directly up at the camera. He was asking for my help. I sat up and eyed each member carefully through the monitor. I didn’t see anyone twitch or make any sudden moves, so I needed him to do more, and he knew. He turned back around to face the crew and cocked his gun back.

Since I know one of you niggas’ bag came up short, that’s a fact! When I find out—and I will fucking find out… I’m going to make your bitch ass watch me kill your family. He motioned the gun around the table again. Then I’m going to blow your fucking brains out.

I looked around the table to see a guy named Tez look into his lap and start to shift in his seat; it was him. I didn’t know Tez, he’s some guy that Boog just recently promoted after he had been running for MGM for like 6 or 7 years. Now I knew I had to evaluate who my brother had in his crowd more thoroughly. My body started to heat up just thinking about the money that was missing. How could he let a fucking thief in a seat at the table? I could respect a robbing nigga. I mean, sometimes you got to do what you got to do, but a sneaky, stealing ass nigga made me sick. I was tempted to go downstairs and kill the broke ass nigga myself but instead, I grabbed my phone. I sent Boog a text and watched him read it on the monitor. He nodded his head and dismissed the meeting. Once I saw everybody was gone, I turned the monitor off. I knew Boog would be up to my office soon, so I sat back and waited for him to enter.

Wassup bro. He dapped me up and sat in the seat on the other side of my desk.

Wassup with you nigga, how you let that nigga get a seat at the table?

I know, I know—I don’t even wanna talk about that shit for real. I’ma handle that nigga tonight.

    Tonight?

Hell yeah, that nigga was sitting in my face, stealing my money bro.

I feel you, I’m just saying… you need to go with a plan.

I got a plan. He sucked his teeth.

No you don’t… what’s ya plan?

I got a plan, he mumbled.

Nigga don’t do no stupid shit, I know you don’t wanna go to jail. I shook my head. That’s one thing I hated about Boog, he’s hard-headed. He didn’t want to hear what nobody got to say even if it’s smarter than what he had planned.

You know I’m not going to nobody’s fucking jail.

Aite, well—make sure you call me when that shit’s done.

Oh, no doubt brother man. He stood up and dapped me up again. The change in his demeanor was evident. All he needed was my permission—now he had it, so he was ready to kill whoever he had to in order to get our money back.

    DIOR ZURI VALENTINO

I ran my hand down the slit of my wet pussy as thoughts of my best friend, Eva, invaded my mind. Just thinking of how her tongue worked against my clit was enough to get me all hot and ready. Eva and I had been best friends for 5 years. I’d always known she had a thing for girls, but it wasn’t until 2 years ago that I started to let her eat my pussy. I had a man but his sexual performance never made me feel the way that Eva could make me feel. Probably because he spent more time verbally and physically abusing me. It started five years ago when I found out I was pregnant with our son. It’s like Tez suddenly started to hate me, and I didn’t know why. I even tried being perfect, doing everything just how he liked it. That still wasn’t enough. So these days were all about me and my handsome baby boy, Monair Zane Valentino, aka Moni. He’s four years old and had watched his father belittle me his entire life. I’d tried to get us away from him plenty of times, while I was pregnant and after Moni was born. If he didn’t catch me right before I could creep out the door, then he would definitely manipulate his way back into our lives. So much that I’d stopped contacting my family regularly, embarrassed because I kept taking him back. He always used Moni, and my dumb ass always let him. Anyway, Eva became my escape. Me and Moni would always sneak down the street to her house and while he played with toys in the spare room, she would eat me out like her life depended on it. Sometimes she’d come here but not often because Tez couldn’t stand her ass. I think it’s because he knew she could make me feel better than he could. One time we tried this threesome he so desperately wanted, but he came so quick the night ended with just me and her, but that’s how we liked it.

Just as I felt my orgasm building up, the door slammed meaning Tez was home. I looked up at the bathroom clock, it read 1:43am. Moni was fast asleep in his bed, so I knew Tez wouldn’t bother me until I decided to come out. I closed my eyes and attempted to continue pleasing myself.

    Knock, Knock, Knock!

Zuri, he called me by the nickname my dad gave me the day I was born. It’s my middle name but it’s what I go by.

Yes, Tez? I sighed because he was interrupting my nut.

Zuri, can you come out? I need to talk to you. His voice was soft. That meant something was probably wrong.

I flushed the toilet as if I was really using the bathroom, then I ran the water to wash my hands, but first I cleaned up my vagina. When I came out the bathroom, Tez was sitting on the floor up against the wall, right across from the bathroom. I rushed to his side like I always did in these situations. Even though most of me resented him, a part of me clung on to hope that one day he’d change.

Baby, what’s wrong? I lightly touched his shoulder.

They’re going kill me. He sounded like he wanted to cry.

Who’s going kill you? My eyebrows dipped in confusion.

Boog! He shrugged me off of him and stood up.

    What? Why?

I took some of his money. He sucked his teeth. It wasn’t a lot. It was just a lil’ bit and he called us for a meeting… I know Phantom was there, I know he was. I watched Boog look right up to the camera. He threw his arms in the air and walked back and forth, talking more to himself than me at this point.

    Who’s Phantom? I asked.

The big boss Zuri, the plug… the man I wanna meet but he never shows his face. Not to anyone but Boog.

Well what makes you think you’re going to meet him then? I accidentally chuckled a little. He didn’t like that.

Bitch! He turned to look at me and his eyes slowly became slits. You!

Me? I started to back away just because I knew what was coming next.

Yeah, I took that money so I can be straight for you! Paying all your bills, handling all your expenses… this is your fault, he lied. He spent all his money popping bottles, chasing bitches, and trying to keep up with what the next man had. A lot of our bills were past due and the only reason the utilities were still on was because of ‘promises to pay,’ promises I didn’t know if I could keep.

I’ve tried to get a job plenty of times and you shot me down, so don’t you dare blame this on me! I wasn’t one to back down these days. I had become so immune to his hits, it was almost like second nature to know when there was one coming. And as long as I stayed on guard they were easy to dodge.

Who the fuck, was all he got out before he stepped forward and swung on me with his left hand. I quickly blocked it just before he hit my face, but he came back with his right hand quickly and smacked me so hard that I saw a lightning bolt before I hit the ground. I rose my hand to feel my cheek, and the stinging sensation let me know there would be a bruise in the morning.

I know I tell you this a lot, but you’s a dumb bitch, you know that? He bent down to talk and now I could smell the liquor on his breath as his spit flew, hitting me on my cheek.

All you got to do is listen, Dior. He only used my real name when he was pissed. And I promise, stuff like this won’t happen baby girl, he lied. I tried being that girl that did everything he said, when and how he wanted it done. This was still the end result. So while living in this hell of a box, I tried to strengthen my mind. Think outside of the box. Escape mentally and hope my body would physically follow. But if I didn’t get out soon, I was going to end up killing him. I couldn’t take it anymore. Just as that thought rang out in my head, a loud bang near the entrance of the house caused Tez to stand straight up. I took the chance and scooted backwards until my back hit the wall.

    BOOM!

This time it was louder, and I could see the front door fly open and bang against the wall. We lived in a single-floor home and I knew the noise had to wake Moni up. When I saw three masked men enter and focus on Tez, I darted to Moni’s room. He was sitting up in his bed looking terrified.

    Mommy, I’m scared.

It’s okay baby, Momma’s got you, I reassured him while wrapping him in my arms and covering his ears.

WHERE THE FUCK IS MY MONEY, MONTEZ?! one of the men yelled. I knew it was Boog because I could point his voice out.

Boog, I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about bro, I swear, he pleaded.

I rolled my eyes, thinking of how tough he could be with me compared to the bitch he was being right now.

You don’t got my money? His voice was more calm this time.

    No, I—

    Boom! Boom!

The gunshots caused me to jump. Tears stained my face as I realized Tez was probably dead. Not that it was a bad thing, but I didn’t know what would happen to me and my son. I looked down at Moni hoping he hadn’t heard anything that just happened.

Go get my shit, Boog told his men, and I could hear them start to tear through the house. I buried Moni’s face into my chest and made sure his ears were covered. My anxiety rose the closer I heard them get to his room.

Is this all of it? he asked. They must have found what they came looking for. Aite, now Nu, you go get his bitch… and the kid.

My heartrate sped up at the mention of me and Moni. Were they really going to kill me and my son because of some shit that Tez did? My baby was young and innocent, he didn’t deserve this. That’s why people always say, be careful who you have kids by. The masked man peeked into the room and left back out.

They in here! he called out to the rest of his team.

Boog walked in, unmasked, accompanied by the two masked men. His eyes were dark like I remembered, and you couldn’t read what he was thinking. But even in the terrifying moment I couldn’t deny his attractive features. His dark chocolate skin was smooth, he had a faded haircut with a little left on the top and sideburns that connected to his chin hairs. The rest of his face was clean and clear. He wore long sleeves, but I still noticed the tattoos peaking from under his sleeve and one on his right hand. This is all stuff I’ve never noticed before, even though I’ve been around him plenty of times, he’s handsome but he’s intimidating.

Please don’t— I started to plead a case for me and my son but Boog cut me off.

Shhhh… y’all don’t make this harder than it has to be alright. He nodded to the guy on the left of him. The guy approached us and pulled us to the floor. I held onto Moni’s hand the entire way down. Then he pulled out a cloth and began to tie it around me eyes. I immediately wrapped my arms around my son when he was done; I had to protect him. I could feel the guy tying a blindfold around his eyes as well. The next thing I know, the guy yanked my hands behind my back and started to tie them into another cloth.

Oh hell no! I swung my leg over and it landed on top of Moni’s two small legs. I just had to make sure he was still by my side. I couldn’t let anything happen to my son.

    Naytel Boog Bayliss

I looked down at Jess bobbing her head up and down quickly. Even though I never texted her back or returned her calls, she still always sucked my dick like a pro. I palmed her hair and pushed her head down on my shaft as far as it would go before she started choking and gagging.

Shit, I groaned, feeling the tip of my dick hit the back of her throat and her mouth water up from gagging. When I let her go, she still didn’t come up for air, she just kept sucking until my nut was pouring down her throat. I used a wet wipe from my glove department to clean my dick and handed Jess one to wipe her mouth.

I’ma call you later, aite, I lied. She nodded and hopped out my ride to join her friends, who were posted down the street.

I got out, walked past my nigga Josh and into Kassidy’s house. I headed towards the bathroom, until I saw what it looked like then I turned around. I went into the living room where Kassidy was smoking a blunt on Facetime with one of her ratchet ass friends.

Bitch, why ya bathroom look like that? And you in here smoking and shit, I snapped. This was the reason she could never be my girl. She was a lazy bitch and sometimes I had to get her in line. If it wasn’t for her having a crib in
