About this ebook
The drawings are a visual account of recollection and awareness; a concrete record of one journey in an attempt of leading a good life and being a better, more appreciative version of of me as a fully expressed self - an expression of seeing and feeling the delight in small things; never loosing the wonder of experiencing the world for the first time and seeing the brilliance in a dew drop.

I’m a Finnish-born visual artist living and working in Berlin since the year 2014. I graduated in 2011 from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts as a Master of Fine Art from the painting department. I studied my major subject of painting for extended periods of time in London and Tokyo as well. As a child of an artist family I was given a chance to work in multiple media from early childhood. My artworks have been exhibited and sold internationally in the USA, Italy, Sweden, Japan, Germany and China. Visual arts form a lifelong background for my other professional interests. I’m a former dancer of the Finnish National Ballet and since then an Ashtanga yoga practitioner and from 2012 a level 2 authorized Ashtanga yoga teacher.

Preface
I’ve been drawing as long as I’ve been able to hold a pen in my hand and the memory based drawings of my daily life in all its forms span over two decades. This book is a dive under the skin of an artist, a dreamer and an enthusiast in life through drawing.
Diaries filled with drawings have always been a constant companion of mine. More recently I have come to think of these drawings as a commentary on the overflow of photographs in social media as well. This book is a logbook of sense of connection to physical and emotional effects and reactions to the world around me.
The drawings are a visual account of recollection and awareness; a concrete record of one journey in an attempt of leading a good life and being a better, more appreciative version of me as a fully expressed self - an expression of seeing and feeling the delight in small things; never loosing the wonder of experiencing the world for the first time and seeing the brilliance in a dew drop.
My work as an artist wanders between drawing, painting, photography and three dimensional works. I explore the spaces within and between these diverse disciplines. Working with multiple media – involving oil paintings, watercolours, soft pastels, printmaking, clay and even doll-making – I’m on a quest to get to the bottom of
