There was a time in the author's life when she was unhappy and depressed even though she could see that there was good all around her. She asked for guidance and a way to achieve love and happiness for herself— the answers came to her and she wrote them down within this book. By following and believing in these steps, she was able to build confidence in herself and her abilities, and came to realize love from within. It is Catherine's desire to have others benefit from this gift she was given. This guidance helped her shed self-doubt and depression, and gain insight into her true self and love from within.
"Living From Within" is about achieving harmony between body, mind, and spirit, through self-awareness and intuition. The book is broken down into three sections, each containing steps that enhance your level of self-awareness and place you closer to your inherent love. Section one involves releasing self-doubt, section two builds upon self-hope, and the third section gives guidance on maintaining hope and your inherent love found within.

This book was written during a time I was unhappy with myself and I could not figure out why. A good friend of mine suggested I ask what do I need to do?
and then just listen for an answer. Needless to say, I did not get very far with this — not until I picked up a pen and notepad and started to just write. I have always enjoyed writing poetry, but this type of writing was something entirely different. And I admit, at the time I began writing this book, none of it made sense to me. There were moments of clarity, but they would pass rather quickly. After I finished writing it, I honestly went through each of the steps, because to have a ‘book’ just flow out of you is not something to brush off or ignore. After all, I had asked for help and I had received it. I focused on the affirmations daily. I carried a printed copy of the main topics and affirmations around with me and read them so much that the paper would wear thin. (I actually still have my fourth copy in my wallet; I come across it from time to time and read it over. I’ve placed a snippet of it on my website.)
When I first started to practice the concepts in the book, I noticed small changes in my attitude and my feelings of about how I viewed myself. Eventually, I was able to change my mindset from being unhappy at my core, into an extremely happy person. I was able to get to the point where I loved myself completely for who I am in body, mind, and spirit. Once I had changed my perception about myself, my perception of my surroundings started to change in a positive way also. I originally wrote this at a time when I had no hope. This book gave that to me, so I could find my way back to the love I had for myself, because it was always there and I had just lost that part of me.
I published this book as a paperback originally, because I knew that it worked, and based on further listening
while writing that I had continued doing, I learned that I needed to share this information with others. Now, years later while changing the format to eBook, I see that I am still aligned with what I wrote back then, and the information is still very relevant. When I originally wrote this, I had never heard about the Law of Attraction or universal laws, but I did believe in intuition. I thought that was what I was tapping into when I was listening, but now I know it was also much more than that; this is why I am self-publishing it, and adding a forward section. This book may or may not help you in the same manner it did for me, but it is at least a starting point if you are not happy and want to change how you feel.
Introduction
There are many principles today that explain how you originated and why you are here. Likewise, there are many religious and spiritual beliefs you can choose from to follow and practice. Living From Within does not require you practice or believe in any one concept. What is required is that you must acknowledge you are born the person you are meant to be.
Based on this belief and if you are in self-awareness, you will have everything you need to know for this lifetime. You will be able to know your path and accomplish what you need to do. Self-knowledge and self-awareness are always accessible to you. Practicing the principles of the steps in this book will help you regain this knowledge from within. Each step is focused on you, and the makeup of yourself.
It is unfortunate that over time you can lose sight of yourself underneath layers of earthly notions. In working through the sections within this book, the layers can be removed. Each section is broken down into steps that enhance your level of self-awareness and place you closer to your inherent love. Section one involves releasing self-doubt, section two builds upon self-hope and self-love, while the third section gives guidance on maintaining your inherent love.
Through teaching of self-awareness and how to remain in harmony of body, mind, and spirit, Living from Within reveals the strategies behind living your lifetime as it was meant to be, which is pure love of self, and how to do so within the guidelines required by humankind.
Section One – Releasing Self-Doubt
By recognizing your need for change, you can change and realize your true potential. Each person is given a gift. This gift is called intuition and it is available to you through self-awareness. Intuition will help to guide and protect you.
In essence, what you know and don’t know are one in the same. By using your intuition, you have the ability to see what cannot be seen and know what cannot be known prior to your decision making process. Each person is granted one avenue in which to walk, or one path in which to take. At each crossroads in your life, you choose between right and left. Neither choice is right nor wrong, and is always correct for you at that given time.
