8 Weeks to Enlightenment: Igniting Your Passion
Author

H. Richard McKnight

The author spent most of his life pursuing spiritual activities—meditation, yoga, joining spiritual communities, and trying various religions only to find that if you do not think of yourself as enlightened, then you are not. This book is a condensation of the author’s journey on the spiritual path and the discovery that unless emotional issues are dealt with you can only go so far toward being your true self. Doing this work allows for deep, inner and lasting change. Through this he has become intuitive, spontaneous, energized, peaceful, and happy.

    Foreword

What is the big question in life? What is the question that most people want to know but very few have the answer to? How about:

The reason these questions are asked on a continual basis are multitude. People start to question their existence when they find monotony in everyday existence. We are a civilization that has a great deal of external stimulation. We go about our daily activities and do not look for more because of all of this input-all on a superficial level. As a society we do not often address the deep issues of life.

Many people are not truly happy these days. It may seem at times that we are just going through the motions. It may feel like something is missing from life.

There are many clues that there is more and many people have stated it in a variety of ways, and there are many paradigms that indicate that there is something more than working, raising a family and dying:

    Search for the Holy Grail

Search for the fountain of youth

    Search for your twin flame

    Alchemy of turning lead
