    PREFACE

    I created this program to guide people who want to live a more loving and compassionate life from their Essence. This journey will guide you through making healthy choices, even on those days when your healthy behaviors seem to have taken a vacation.

    Throughout this book, I will use male and female pronouns randomly. I also use God, Spirit, and Universe interchangeably. Please select the one you are most comfortable with or insert another word you prefer.

    Take your time reading this book. Let it soak in. I hope you mark all over the margins with your personal notes and keep this book close at hand so you can refer to it when needed. You may want to read through it without doing the activities and then read it again when you have time to do the activities.

    The Inner Essence Journey is one of love and compassion that targets long-term results. It works with your inner Self: your Essence.

    You will learn four Stop behaviors that will help you recognize the unhealthy actions, which create suffering and interfere with the creation of a healthy self. These are behaviors that you all do at some time or another: wanting, holding, assuming, and monitoring. WHAM is a good acronym to use to remember those behaviors. These do not come from your Essence; they come from fear, and when you stop them, your life aligns with your true Essence. You can often tell if your behavior is an
