Chapter One

Sabrina Marlow had never done anything like this before. It’s not often that she met up with strange men. It all sort of happened by accident, really. She was new to New Moon City and looking to meet people. Her co-worker, Kim Kelly, handed her a card with only an address on the back.

What’s the address for? Sabrina asked. She pushed her glasses up her nose and fumbled with the card in her hand. 

Her friend had a femme-fatale physique with perfect blonde hair and red nails.

Trust me you won’t regret it, She smiled. 

Sabrina pocketed the card and grabbed her things to leave.

Ms. Marlow, You’re not leaving just yet are you, Her boss called at her back as she stood before the elevator.

Sabrina sighed, rolling her eyes. Brutus McKenzie, her boss, always dug up some task for her to do right before she was ready to head home. He was a proud werebear who loved watching her squirm.

Frankly, Sabrina wasn’t that surprised. Brutus was kind of a pervert and he always got a little too touchy-feely — caressing Sabrina’s lower back after handing her a file or leaning in a little too close when he spoke to her.

Even though her boss was married with a litter of cubs, Sabrina wasn’t surprised that he was having multiple affairs around the office.

Do you need me to pick up your dry cleaning, Mr. McKenzie? Sabrina asked, fidgeting in his office door. Brutus just let his deeply brown eyes scan up and down Sabrina’s divine curves.

What’s that smell? Is that a new perfume you’re wearing? It smells absolutely incredible, Brutus told her, sniffing the air.

A half smile snaked across Sabrina’s face.
