When my boss called me into his office I feared that I had done something wrong. Luckily, he just wanted to inform me and a few of the other team leaders about an upcoming project. Typically such a discussion would have taken place in the company conference room, but he had explained it was currently in use by another manager.

I had been dating Kelly for almost a year and had only met Lisa a few times. Kelly was the youngest of six children, and Lisa was the oldest of the group. With an age gap of about 15 years, Kelly and Lisa didn’t seem particularly close.
