    Steve stared bleary-eyed at the monitor on his desk. He sighed and leaned back. There wasn’t anything he could do to make this story more interesting. The man he’d interviewed had turned out to be as unexciting as the article he was writing, and there just didn’t seem to be a way to spice it up. Financial articles just bored him, but a job was a job.

    Seeing Steve pull back from the work, Jeremiah walked over and asked, You working on anything important? Jeremiah was the newspaper’s Local Editor, and he was always on the lookout for articles that would sell more papers. Times had been hard working for print news for the past few years, and he was desperately trying to hold on to his department until he could retire.

    Steve looked up and shrugged. Not especially. I have this interview with the retirement planning guy to clean up, but they don’t have a date for it on the schedule yet downstairs, so it can wait. What else did you have for me?

    Have you heard of Kyle Fitzsimmons?

    Steve thought for a moment, and then he shook his head. Nope.

    Yeah, me neither, but he’s big in the BMX Bicycle world. I want you to do an interview with him.

    BMX? Like dirt-racing?
