You have decided to go to the United States Military Academy, otherwise known as West Point. Congratulations! The hard work BEGINS with the application process and will continue until you graduate. Attending a Service Academy is unlike anything you have ever done before. It will test you beyond your limits, and I promise at some point in time you WILL want to go home. That being said, I am very proud and happy to have graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and wish anyone the same amazing experience if that is their goal.

This book is focused on helping you with the interview portion associated with Senatorial and Congressional Nominations. I worked in the Air Force Academy Admissions office and have evaluated thousands upon thousands of students for acceptance at the Air Force Academy. Each Academy is unique, but the application and selection processes are very similar. I worked with my counterparts at the other Service Academies Admissions Offices and found that candidates were vetted in very similar ways, especially during the Nomination process. This book is based on that experience, and I believe the information contained within these pages can really improve your interview skills. If you would like additional help during any part of the application process or want help with mock interviews please visit us at www.academypros.com. Professional Service Academy Consultants would be happy to help you!

If you recently decided to go to West Point you may feel at a disadvantage to those who have been preparing for a Service Academy before high school. As a senior in high school there is very little you can do to change your grades or add addition activities to your resume. BUT the interview is something you can prepare for and absolutely amaze those interviewing you. For West Point you will most likely have an interview your Congressman and/or Senator. Some Congressmen and Senators do not have interviews, but most do. The interviews are conducted by a panel of people usually representing all of the Service Academies. Also, you might be interested in ROTC and ROTC scholarships. This process requires an interview as well. This book will help with ALL of the interviews. In fact, this book will teach you an easy to learn interview style that can be used during any type of interview (other college interviews, internship interviews, job interviews, etc.) you will have throughout
