FOOD FOR THOUGHT

I’ve dabbled in martial arts for much of my life. I really enjoy it for the physical and mental challenges it presents, and the confidence it bestows on you.

There are many similarities between learning music and martial arts. I started both early on and I think they helped each other quite a lot. The reason I’m going to explore this as a topic today is that there are aspects in martial arts that are easy to explain and immediately adapt to a musical context.
