The objectives of the Guide

Probably you will think this forthcoming trial worse than when you were interviewed as a candidate. Then, all you had to do was show yourself to the best of your ability. You want to show the Chairperson and your colleagues on the panel that you know your subject, that you are confident, well-informed, are bursting with penetrating and challenging questions, and that you have perceptiveness and excellent judgement.
