About this ebook

This booklet is a follow up to a book I wrote several years ago entitled, 101 Positive Athletic Traditions. At the end of the book I asked readers who had other traditions that they would be willing to share to write to me. This is a compilation of the best of those traditions I received from coaches, athletic directors and athletes from around the country.
Positive traditions exist to bond teammates, and coaches, to reward behaviors that will make you a better team, to support your core covenants and to have fun.

    Athletic Traditions - Round Two

There are some common traits in consistently successful programs, one of which is positive traditions they have intentionally instituted to celebrate each part of their season. This booklet is a follow up to a book I wrote several years ago entitled 101 Positive Athletic Traditions. At the end of the book, I asked readers who had other traditions that they would be willing to share to write to me. This is a compilation of the best of the traditions I have received from coaches, athletic directors and athletes from around the country. Hopefully they will be adjustable for coaches and teams to use regardless of sport or age.
