Necessary Materials.
Most of these materials you can find in your office, at home, in a briefing room or at a local store. You don't need to purchase any fancy items, so you may call it a low cost and high margin team building event.
Necessary materials for one 4-10member team:
-Five ping pong balls
-9-10ft long ropes(Ø 0.1-0.2in),one rope per team member
-Fifteen plastic cups
-Three pencils with erasers on the end
-Forty pieces of dry spaghetti
-One set of 52 playing cards
-One box with safety matches
-Ten marshmallows
-Rubber bands (elastic bands) approx. 50 pieces
-Thirty sheets of office paper
-Five balloons
-Wooden / plastic plates (approx. 15x15in), one plate per team member
>You will need five special hand-made plates with letters written on them (one letter per plate: W / I / N / T / O).
-Five cocktail straws
-One blindfold per team member
-Five tennis balls
-Two rolls of duct tape (approx. 60 yards each)
-One set of standard double-six dominoes with relief so team members can feel points with fingertips
-One box per team for all these materials
-Three option cards
(further instructions provided later)
Additional materials for you as an organizer:
-Stopwatch
-Paper tape or any other marking tape
-Glass with water
-Measuring tape
-White board or flip chart
-White board markers
-Permanent marker
-A rope circle from a 7in long and Ø῀0.4in rope. Use duct tape or thread to attach both rope ends together.
-Sheet of paper with the 9 points task
on it (see description later)
-Internet access is recommended
-An office clock would be very helpful
-Dice and a game
