Do you read inspiring books?Ever since I was in grammar school, reading has been a treat for me. Even though as a school girl, i was plagued with a fear to read aloud. I would think to myself, I can write like this. I prided myself in learning words to describe life, emotions, and tell colorful stories. Words made me feel alive.As a teenager, I kind of stopped reading and picked up my pen to write. I wrote about pain, I wrote about suffering, I wrote about love and heartbreak, I wrote what I saw. Thus my love for writing saved my life. It was in my writing that I found how to grow as a person.I remember it like it was yesterday, when the Spirit of god impressed upon me to write my story. Well needless to say, I did not have a pristine life. I had experienced some awful things and more importantly , I had done some thing I would rather forget. So I struggled to tell my story. Who would want to read it anyway?Well, I am Linda Hillman and today I write because I have something to say and I know that people will read what I say and that they will be able to make decisions that will ever change their life. I am an author, entrepreneur and absolutely in love with todays possibilities of helping others find their passion. Preface

What is the meaning of being whole? Well in one sense of the word, it is living a balanced life. No one part of your life is dominant. So let us start here, how do you achieve wholeness? How do you achieve balance? In this book, you will find that these two terms will be interchangeable.

Will You Be Made Whole is a realistic look at how the pains of our past can hinder us in the future. It is a look at how we tend to allow ourselves to be wrapped up in emotions. These emotions stump us and cause us to stand, stand for years on end. We come to understand that had we moved we might have been able to achieve our destiny, our purpose, but we choose to stand still and life went on without us. Many have died unfulfilled. Many did not reach the heights they should have because of past hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

Therefore, what now, do we continue to walk out this paradigm or do we stand up and become whole. Do we walk in balance? W.H.O.L.E. (Women Healed Of Life Experiences) Ministries was started because of this need in the lives of the people I dealt with on a daily basis. Some were not living to their potential and others just did not realize they were missing better things in life.

How can you desire something that you are not aware should be yours? This book will open your insights to things you only imagine could be yours. Let me, let you in on a little secret, they were yours from the beginning of time. In case you are wondering, yes this is a book that will cause you to not only look within yourself for answers but it will stretch you to believe in the only one that can change your vision. Yes, Jesus Christ is the only one that can help you to achieve the success you have dreamt about most of your life.

Dedication

This book is dedicated to my Mother, Emma Mary Harper. I love her for the woman she is and the woman she is becoming. It was her faith in the God in me that pulled this book out of me. Her prayers, godly wisdom and listening skills helped me stay the course. She was there in August 2007 when God called me off my job and I began writing this book. She provided a place for me to stay when there was no income coming in and although she did not quite understand why I did not get a job, she supported me in every way.

I am grateful for her motivation to keep going. Even when others gave up on me, throughout my life, she never did (even though I am sure there were times she might have wanted to). Many nights I would stay up all night writing and she made sure I had to space to work in.

I am grateful to have such a loving and caring mother in my corner.

Introduction

In case you are wondering this is not another book about life purpose and or how to change yourself and become a successful individual. This book is about how balance in every area of your life will cause some chain reactions. These events were supposed to happen to you in your lifetime but due to hurt, habits and hang-ups you have attempted to change the intended purpose of your life. This book will help you see where that shift occurred and cause you to take the necessary steps to get back on track. That is right, somewhere you went off track. The one thing I have discovered in my life is that the pains I have had to endure were not to take me out of the game but to polish me for the end result. I am what I am today because of the pains I have survived. I used to say I would give anything to change my life and live a smoother, richer, opposition free existence. This is not my song and dance today. I love my life. I would not change any minute morsel of it. Although, it has taken me several years to get to this point, now that I am here it all makes perfect sense to me.

You may say to yourself, that is nice for you but you have no clue what I have had to endure. You are right I do not nor will I pretend to understand what is going on in your life. What I do know is that God is able to take ugly broken dreams and busted desires and turn them into reality. You can live a balanced life no matter what was taken from you and when it was taken. The key is realization. Understanding that it will take more than you to turn this ship around.

Let us begin here, what keeps me moving forward in life. It is the knowledge that I am better because of Christ in my life. However, even that knowledge did not start me walking in my destiny.

It was late one night as I cried myself to sleep after talking to a friend of mine on the phone about all the things that was going wrong in her life. I began the conversation thinking that I will counsel her and give her a quick kick in the behind as I had done so many times before. This time was different. As she began to share what was going on I felt depression come upon me so thick that I started to cry and afraid she might hear me I pulled the phone away from my ear and just listen with a grunt of I am still here and listening. However, her words of Why does this always happen to me resonated in my heart. I felt her pain and no clever twist on words would be able to take away even the doubt I now felt.

I was dumbfounded. The things I knew to be true did not matter to me. Why did we have to survive such horrendous things in life to be saved? Why do women, all over the world, saved and unsaved, have to face such tragedy to be strong? Dare I say it? I wanted to know, what the God I had served for thirty years of my life was going to do about this. As I said, with no conviction, the Christian phrases we all say when a fellow Christian who shares the trials and troubles they are facing. I did not believe one word and could not wait to make that plain to God, who I was sure, watching me this very moment. He had better have a good answer too. I mean I am a Minister of His gospel; it is somewhat hard to preach and sell something that you no longer believe yourself. As I hung up the phone, I asked, God when will this all end. What is the purpose of this? Why did I have to go through the pain I suffered and why is she suffering now. Does this make you feel important? What is really going on? When are you going to do something about this and when do we get to win a battle? A thought came to me almost as quick as if my own thought. When will YOU get over it? I ignored this and went to bed.

The next morning, I woke up with the same thought. When will YOU get over it? Not sure, what to make of this I began to read the Bible as I did every morning, hoping God would speak to the questions I had. As I read, I went pass my daily reading and began to read about the woman with the issue of blood. We all know the story but for the sake of giving meaning to what I mean by being made whole I will break it down. So let us look at the verses that contain this story.
