INTRODUCTION – WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD
Everybody makes mistakes – there is no shortage of that for sure! You can rest assured that you are not alone in this feeling. The difference between winners and losers is that winners never give up, and they keep looking for new solutions to old problems. Point in fact is that the same old solution that didn’t work before is not going to work now, so give it up and try something new.
There are several areas where you can make major mistakes or wrong choices in life. All are correctable, that is the good news. By the same token, if you do not address and solve the issues, they will not go away and you will suffer. Here are the top areas of life you should be thinking about fixing, even if they are apparently going well. Remember, there is always room for improvement! Let’s look them over, one by one; first the mistakes and then the recovery from mistakes in these areas:
- Personal
- Family
- Financial
- Taking Care of Oneself
- Spending
- Education
- Service to Others

PART ONE – MISTAKES
There are hundreds of mistakes we all make in life and many of us tend to make more mistakes than others, or so it seems. Actually, mistakes are the result when you make a wrong choice. Choices have consequences; you may make wrong choices by accident or consciously. Either way, choices that end up being mistakes can be costly in a variety of ways, including to your financial, health and mental well-being. Before you can avoid mistakes or try to do better in life, you must first recognize what you have done and how it might have affected you negatively. If your negatives are still causing you pain, you are still making mistakes!
There are several different areas in life where making wrong or thoughtless choices can be hazardous. After the list below are some ways to attempt recovery from these mistakes. Of course, everyone needs to find their own path to personal success, but it is a lot easier if you follow some kind of map, and that means paying attention to what other experienced people pass along to you. You don’t have to duplicate what they did, but you should at least pay attention enough to formulate your own map to successful living. Likewise, you can avoid mistakes in your own life by paying heed to what others have dealt with in their lives.
No one can tell you what your mistakes are; this is a very personal and unique matter. Anything that affects you negatively may be classified as a mistake in your mind, but only you can say that it is a mistake. What may look like a mistake to someone else could be something that they interpret as what would constitute a mistake for them, but your life is individual. You are the one who ultimately can say what constitutes a mistake for you. Remember that mistakes stem from choices you have made; these can be accidental or deliberate choices. Sometimes you can project what consequences might be from your choices, but other times you won’t know a result of a choice until it materializes.
The only problem here is that some mistakes are so life-altering that the person involved is not able
