When Monday rolled around, I couldn't help but be both excited and terrified. I had spent all of Sunday reliving my night with Blake, running the whispered conversations over and over in my head. As satisfying as the moment was, there was no way either of us could let it end there. As soon as we could safely ditch our coworkers, Blake led me to a hotel. The second night together was even better than the first, was everything I had ever dreamed of, and I realized in that moment that I could never stay away from him. I wasn't quite ready to admit the true depth of my feelings, it was too early, things were just too new, but the emotions were there and strong. No matter what it cost me, I knew I would never let Blake go again. He was my future, and I couldn't have been happier with that reality, even if the thought of letting go of my old life terrified me.

The rather large restaurant table was jammed full of work colleagues, but my eyes could only seem to focus on Blake.
